Laser‐Induced Graphene from Waste Almond Shells
Advanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.Almond shells, an abundant agricultural by‐product, are repurposed to create a fully bioderived almond shell/chitosan composite (ASC) degradable in soil. ASC is converted into laser‐induced graphene (LIG) by laser scribing and proposed as a substrate for transient electronics.

Compact diagonal linear operators on Banach spaces with unconditional bases
International Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, 1993 Let E and F be Banach spaces with equivalent normalized unconditional bases. In this note we show that a bounded diagonal linear operator T:E→F is compact if and only if its entries tend to 0, using the concept of weak uniform continuity.

Extending a single helix design tool, this study combines numerical modeling with experimental validation, revealing large, broadband dissymmetry factors in the visible range.

Advanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.A butyldithiocarbamic acid (BDCA) etchant is used to fabricate various micro‐ and nanoscale structures on amorphous antimony trisulfide (a‐Sb2S3) thin film via femtosecond laser etching. Numerical analysis and experimental results elucidate the patterning mechanism on gold (reflective) and quartz (transmissive) substrates.
