Heat treatment parameters critically affect the wear resistance of powder bed fusion–laser beam (PBF‐LB)‐produced Ti–6Al–2Sn–4Zr–6Mo alloy. This study found that optimizing annealing temperature allows to obtain a tailored microstructure, which enhances the dry‐sliding behavior by forming a stable and functional mechanically mixed layer (MML), ensuring

Gudder–Nagy’s Theorem for Hilbert K(H)-Modules
We show in this paper Gudder–Nagy’s theorem for operators on Hilbert C∗-modules over C∗-algebra of compact operators. Let H be a complex Hilbert space with dim H>1, and KH the C∗-algebra of compact operators on H.

On the weak limit of compact operators on the reproducing kernel Hilbert space and related questions
By applying the so-called Berezin symbols method we prove a Gohberg- Krein type theorem on the weak limit of compact operators on the non- standard reproducing kernel Hilbert space which essentially improves the similar results of Karaev [5]: We also in ...

A near infrared‐responsive microscale cantilever is developed using a 3D‐printable composite based on photocurable resin consisting of sepiolite and graphene flakes. The material absorbs 1064 nm light, causing shape transformation with an average displacement of 1.3 mm in 1.7 s. Displacement is measured via video recording.

A note on M-ideals in certain algebras of operators
Let X=(∑n=1∞ℓ1n)p, p>1. In this paper, we investigate M-ideals which are also ideals in L(X), the algebra of all bounded linear operators on X. We show that K(X), the ideal of compact operators on X is the only proper closed ideal in L(X) which is both

Improved Strength and Corrosion Resistance of Ti–50Zr Alloy Through Heat Treatment
This work systematically analyzes the effects of heat treatment on mechanical properties and corrosion behavior of Ti‐50Zr alloy produced via vacuum arc melting. Microstructure transforms from coarse lamellar α phase in as‐cast condition to fine and uniformly distributes acicular α′ phase in heat‐treatment state.

The author proves the following nice result. Let T be a positive, compact, ideal-irreducible operator in a Banach lattice E (dim \(E\geq 2)\). Then T is not quasi-nilpotent, i.e. \(r(T)>0\) where, of course, r(T) denotes the spectral radius) of T. There is also a generalization of this result to positive irreducible operators, some powers of which ...

Interpolation of compact non-linear operators
Let and be two Banach couples and let be a continuous map such that is a Lipschitz compact operator and is a Lipschitz operator. We prove that if is also compact or is continuously embedded in or is continuously embedded in , then is also a ...

The ultraselective H2S detection of the ZIF‐L/SnS2 heterostructure is demonstrated. The introduction of 2‐dimensional (2D) breathable ZIF‐L results in a substantial increase in H2S selectivity attributable to the molecular sieving effect, which impedes the permeation of gases with large kinetic diameters and high polarity.

For a finite, complete and positive measure space \((\Omega,\Sigma,\mu)\) and Banach spaces \(X\) and \(Y\) over the real or complex field, mappings \(U\) from \(\Omega\) into \(W(X,Y)\), the space of weakly compact operators from \(X\) to \(Y\), are considered.
