AbstractWe show that every KC space (X,τ), such that τ is minimal among the KC topologies on X, must be compact (not necessarily T2). This solves a long-standing question, first raised by R. Larson in 1973.

A countably compact space and its products
It is known that if a topological space X is totally countably compact, then (a) XI, (the product of w copies of X) is countably compact, and (b) for every countably compact space Y, the product X x Y is countably compact.

Morphological features of three defect types in metal additive manufacturing (AM)—lack of fusion, keyhole, and gas‐entrapped pores—are statistically characterized using best‐fit distributions evaluated via coefficient‐of‐determination, Kolmogorov–Smirnov test, and quantile–quantile plots.

Development of Aluminum Scandium Alloys for Hydrogen Storage Valves
Different aluminum alloy series and various aluminum‐scandium alloys with differing Sc and Zr levels are evaluated for use in hydrogen storage valve production. The alloys undergo hardness testing, optical microscopy, and tensile strength analysis, with hardening behavior studied under varying conditions.

Finite Unions of D-Spaces and Applications of Nearly Good Relation
Some results are obtained on finite unions of D-spaces. It is proved that if a space is the union of finitely many locally compact D-subspaces, then it is a D-space. It follows that a space is a D-space if it is the union of finitely many locally compact

The Open Limit Point Compactness
In this paper, we gave a new topological concept and we called it the open limit point compactness. We have proved that each of the compactness, and the limit point compactness is stronger than of the open limit point compactness., that is, compactness ...

Residual Stress States in Microstructurally Graded PBF–LB/M Austenitic Steel Components
This study examines microstructurally graded 316L rectangular tube profiles fabricated via PBF–LB/M using a dual‐laser system. A 1 kW top‐hat and a 400 W Gaussian laser create distinct grain sizes and crystallographic texture. Mechanical properties are linked to microstructural evolution driven by processing conditions.

Homogeneous Subspaces of Products of Extremally Disconnected Spaces
Homogeneous countably compact spaces $X$ and $Y$ whose product $X\times Y$ is not pseudocompact are constructed. It is proved that all compact subsets of homogeneous subspaces of the third power of an extremally disconnected space are finite.

Spaces of compact operators [PDF]
In this paper we study the structure of the Banach space K(E, F) of all compact linear operators between two Banach spaces E and F. We study three distinct problems: weak compactness in K(E, F), subspaces isomorphic to l~ and complementation of K(E, F) in L(E, F), the space of bounded linear operators.
