Products of a Compact Space and a Metric Space [PDF]
Let X × Y X \times Y be the product of a compact space X X and a metric space Y Y . We consider a continuous closed image Z Z of X × Y X \times Y . Moreover, we consider a closed subspace R R in

Low‐Velocity Penetration Impact Behavior of Triply Periodic Minimal Surface Strut‐Based Lattices
Triply periodic minimal surface (TPMS)‐based lattices are gaining attention for their multifunctional properties in applications as aeronautics and automotive, which involve low‐velocity impact loading. This work evaluates the low‐velocity penetration impact behavior of five distinct TPMS architectures.

Some properties of b-weakly compact operators on Banach lattices
In this paper we give some necessary and sufficient conditions for which each Banach lattice is space and we study some properties of b-weakly compact operators from a Banach lattice into a Banach space .

Solid-set functions and topological measures on locally compact spaces [PDF]
A topological measure on a locally compact space is a set function on open and closed subsets which is finitely additive on the collection of open and compact sets, inner regular on open sets, and outer regular on closed sets. Almost all works devoted to topological measures, corresponding non-linear functionals, and their applications deal with ...

On the cardinality of a compact 𝑇₁ space [PDF]
In this paper two theorems on the cardinality of a compact T 1 {T_1} space are stated. They generalize the following result: an uncountable first countable compact T 1 {T_1} space has cardinality greater than or equal to ...

Compact spaces and products of finite spaces [PDF]
It is shown that the compact spaces are precisely the extension closed subspaces of products of finite spaces, where a subspace is extension closed if every open cover of the subspace extends to an open cover of the entire space. Every closed subspace is extension closed, and for Hausdorff spaces the converse also holds.

On cofree S-spaces and cofree S-flows
Let S-Tych be the category of Tychonoff S-spaces for a topological monoid S. We study the cofree S-spaces and cofree S-flows over topological spaces and we prove that for any topological space X and a topological monoid S, the function space C(S,X) with ...
