Compact composition operators on the Dirichlet space and capacity of sets of contact points [PDF]
In this paper, we prove that for every compact set of the unit disk of logarithmic capacity 0, there exists a Schur function both in the disk algebra and in the Dirichlet space such that the associated composition operator is in all Schatten classes (of ...

Tachyons in compact spaces [PDF]
We discuss condensations of closed string tachyons localized in compact spaces. Time evolution of an on-shell condensation is naturally related to the worldsheet RG flow. Some explicit tachyonic compactifications of Type II string theory is considered, and some of them are shown to decay into supersymmetric theories known as the little string theories.

AbstractIn this paper we show that the compactness of a Loeb space depends on its cardinality, the nonstandard universe it belongs to and the underlying model of set theory we live in. In §1 we prove that Loeb spaces are compact under various assumptions, and in §2 we prove that Loeb spaces are not compact under various other assumptions.

On Compactness in Function Spaces [PDF]
There are shown some implications from pseudocompactness to compactness or sequential compactness. The latter, sequential compactness, is obtained via metrization.

Locally compact space and continuity
Topological spaces for being T0, T1, T2 and regular space have been discussed. The conditions for a topological space to be locally compact have also been studied. We have found that a continuous function preserves locally compactness.

Using the concept of H-open set, we introduce the concept of H-compact space. Several properties of H-compact spaces are proved , among these are: • H-closed subset of H-compact is     H-compact.

On open well-filtered spaces [PDF]
We introduce and study a new class of $T_0$ spaces, called open well-filtered spaces. The main results we proved include (1) every well-filtered space is an open well-filtered space; (2) every core-compact open well-filtered space is sober.

The Hausdorff Algebra Fuzzy Distance and its Basic Properties [PDF]
In this article we recall the definition of algebra fuzzy metric space and its basic properties. In order to introduced the Hausdorff algebra fuzzy metric from fuzzy compact set to another fuzzy compact set we define the algebra fuzzy distance between ...

Locally rich compact sets [PDF]
We construct a compact metric space that has any other compact metric space as a tangent, with respect to the Gromov-Hausdorff distance, at all points. Furthermore, we give examples of compact sets in the Euclidean unit cube, that have almost any other ...

Thermofield-Bosonization on Compact Space [PDF]
We develop the construction of fermionic fields in terms of bosonic ones to describe free and interaction models in the circle, using thermofielddynamics. The description in the case of finite temperature is developed for both normal modes and zero modes.
