The Entropy of Co-Compact Open Covers
Co-compact entropy is introduced as an invariant of topological conjugation for perfect mappings defined on any Hausdorff space (compactness and metrizability are not necessarily required).

Fourth order quasi-compact difference schemes for (tempered) space fractional diffusion equations [PDF]
The continuous time random walk (CTRW) underlies many fundamental processes in non-equilibrium statistical physics. When the jump length of CTRW obeys a power-law distribution, its corresponding Fokker-Planck equation has space fractional derivative ...

This study demonstrates an efficient recycling route for out‐of‐spec AlSi10Mg atomized powders through compaction and arc remelting followed by suction casting. By correlating compaction load, cooling rate, and resulting microstructure, we show that intermediate pressures (50–80 kN) and rapid cooling refine dendrites, reduce porosity, and enhance ...

SIFAT KOMPAK DALAM RUANG HAUSDORFF
The inspiration of the definition of “compactness” comes from the real number system. Closed and bounded sets in the real line were considered as an excellent model to show a generalized version of the compactness in a topological space.

Packaging of Macroscopic Material Payloads: Needs, Challenges, Concepts, and Future Directions
This review introduces a unified framework that decomposes any macroscopic packaging system into the payload, packaging material, and packaging strategy and combines them into a conceptual packaging equation: packaging strategy = payload + packaging material.

High‐temperature interactions between low‐sulfur Al‐killed Mn–B steel and MgO–C refractories (0 and 50 wt% recyclates) are studied via finger immersion tests (1600 °C). Surface‐active elements influence infiltration. MgO/CaS layer forms, along with spinel and calcium silicate.

Commutative Topological Semigroups Embedded into Topological Abelian Groups
In this paper, we give conditions under which a commutative topological semigroup can be embedded algebraically and topologically into a compact topological Abelian group.

Countably z-compact spaces [PDF]
In this note the author studies countably z-compact spaces and z-Lindelöf spaces. He relates countably z-compact spaces to pseudocompact spaces and he gives two characterizations of countably z-compact spaces (the first one in terms of z-filterbases and z-ideals, the second one in terms of closed graph multifunctions).

Zein‐Based Adhesives: Sustainable Extraction and Application in Bioadhesive Technologies
Zein is extracted from corn gluten meal using a simple and scalable process with high yield (~90%). The resulting protein is applied in bioadhesives modified with Ca2+ and Fe3+ ions, exhibiting substrate‐dependent adhesion. The findings demonstrate competitive bonding performance and highlight the role of ionic interactions in tuning adhesion ...

This study investigates the tribological response of 60NiTi alloy under dry, water‐lubricated and high‐temperature conditions. The alloy exhibits decreasing wear volume and friction with increasing temperature due to the formation of protective oxide layers. The work clarifies dominant wear mechanisms and demonstrates the suitability of 60NiTi for high‐
