Spinning Optimization of Fine Cashmere Yarns: Influence of Fiber Preparation and Spinning Technology

open access: yesFibers
Cashmere is recognized as one of the most valuable natural fibers due to its softness, fineness, and valuable properties. However, the production of fine cashmere yarns remains technically challenging due to the intrinsic variability of fiber ...

Complete Hamiltonian for spinning binary systems at first post-Minkowskian order

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2020
Building upon recent progress in applying on-shell amplitude techniques to classical observables in general relativity, we propose a closed-form formula for the conservative Hamiltonian of a spinning binary system at the 1st post-Minkowskian (1PM) order.

N3LO gravitational spin-orbit coupling at order G 4

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2021
In this paper we derive for the first time the N3LO gravitational spin-orbit coupling at order G 4 in the post-Newtonian (PN) approximation within the effective field theory (EFT) of gravitating spinning objects.

Development of a Three‐Axis Planar Hall Magnetoresistance Sensor Using a Superparamagnetic Nanoparticle‐Based Flux Guide

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A printed superparamagnetic nanoparticle‐based flux guide enables the realization of a hysteresis‐free three‐axis magnetic sensor. This innovative architecture efficiently redirects out‐of‐plane fields to planar sensing elements, facilitating simultaneous vector detection without complex reset protocols.

From Photoalignment to Structured Light: Liquid Crystal Platforms for Beam Shaping and Complex Wavefronts

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Photoaligned and photopatterned liquid crystal platforms provide programmable control of optical phase, polarization, and spin‐orbit interactions, enabling compact generation of structured light and complex wavefronts. This review highlights how tailored molecular orientations transform simple beams into designed optical fields, opening versatile ...

Ambient‐Stable Transparent P‐Type CuI Transistors Via Room‐Temperature Pulsed Laser Deposition

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
An in situ PLD fabricated AlOx${\rm AlO}_x$/CuI/AlOx${\rm AlO}_x$ sandwich structure enables stable CuI TFTs with a field‐effect mobility of 2.3 ±$\pm$ 0.7 cm2${\rm cm}^{2}$ V−1${\rm V}^{-1}$ s−1${\rm s}^{-1}$ and excellent ambient stability. Complementary inverters based on CuI:Rb and ZnO:Al exhibit rail‐to‐rail voltage transfer characteristics and an

Polarization‐Dependent Synaptic‐Like Electro‐Optical Response in Ferroelectric Nematic Liquid Crystals

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Ferroelectric nematic liquid crystals (FNLCs) offer fast, tunable polarization and low‐voltage operation but suffer from poor polarization retention at zero field. Semiconductor‐modified FNLCs enhance polarization retention and exhibit short‐ and long‐term electro‐optical responses, while also supporting spike‐type signal integrations.

Studying Postmerger Outflows from Magnetized-neutrino-cooled Accretion Disks

open access: yesThe Astrophysical Journal, 2023
Neutrino-cooled accretion flow around a spinning black hole, produced by a compact binary merger, is a promising scenario for jet formation and launching magnetically driven outflows.
