Pulsed Electrochemical Exfoliation for an HF‐Free Sustainable MXene Synthesis

Synthesizing MXenes using NaBF4/HCl and cathodic pulsing. This approach demonstrates the key role of cathodic pulse, which imposes bubble formation on the electrode, resulting in operando surface reactivation. Thus, the methodology demonstrates high‐quality HF‐free MXenes with up to 60% yield, paving the way for green industrialization.

Bio‐Inspired Zinc Anodes: Mitigating Dendrite Formation and Side Reactions in Aqueous Zinc Metal Batteries Using Laser Carbonized Chitosan Layer

This study presents a new method for addressing challenges in aqueous Zn‐ion battery technology, using laser‐assisted carbonization of biopolymer chitosan on zinc anodes. Designed anodes to improve cycling stability, Zn2⁺ transport kinetics, and dendrite suppression, offering a sustainable, eco‐friendly solution for energy storage systems.
