On The Convolution of a Box Spline With a Compactly Supported Distribution: Linear Independence for the Integer Translates [PDF]
AbstractThe problem of linear independence of the integer translates of μ * B, where μ is a compactly supported distribution and B is an exponential box spline, is considered in this paper. The main result relates the linear independence issue with the distribution of the zeros of the Fourier-Laplace transform, of μ on certain linear manifolds ...

The State Space of Perturbative Quantum Field Theory in Curved Spacetimes [PDF]
The space of continuous states of perturbative interacting quantum field theories in globally hyperbolic curved spacetimes is determined. Following Brunetti and Fredenhagen, we first define an abstract algebra of observables which contains the Wick ...

Dependence of the Density of States on the Probability Distribution. Part II: Schrödinger Operators on $$\pmb {\mathbb {R}}^d$$ and Non-compactly Supported Probability Measures [PDF]
We extend our results in \cite{hislop_marx_1} on the quantitative continuity properties, with respect to the single-site probability measure, of the density of states measure and the integrated density of states for random Schr dinger operators.

Asymptotic Behaviours for an Index Whittaker Transform over
The objective of this research is to obtain the asymptotic behaviour of compactly supported distributions and generalized functions for a variant of the index Whittaker transform.

Infinitesimal index: cohomology computations
In this note several computations of equivariant cohomology groups are performed. For the compactly supported equivariant cohomology, the notion of infinitesimal index developed in arXiv:1003.3525, allows to describe these groups in terms of certain ...

New Inversion Formulae for the Widder–Lambert and Stieltjes–Poisson Transforms
This paper establishes explicit inversion formulae for the Widder–Lambert transform and the Stieltjes–Poisson transform, extending their applicability to function spaces and compactly supported distributions.

Bounds on the spectral shift function and the density of states
We study spectra of Schr\"odinger operators on $\RR^d$. First we consider a pair of operators which differ by a compactly supported potential, as well as the corresponding semigroups.

Harmonic analysis on Heisenberg--Clifford Lie supergroups
We define a Fourier transform and a convolution product for functions and distributions on Heisenberg--Clifford Lie supergroups. The Fourier transform exchanges the convolution and a pointwise product, and is an intertwining operator for the left regular

Calpain small subunit homodimerization is robust and calcium‐independent
Calpains dimerize via penta‐EF‐hand (PEF) domains. Using single‐molecule force spectroscopy, we measured the strength and kinetics of PEF–PEF homodimer binding. The interaction is robust, shows a transient conformational step before dissociation, and remains largely insensitive to Ca2+.
