Generalized zero-shot learning (GZSL) requires a classifier trained on seen classes that can recognize objects from both seen and unseen classes. Due to the absence of unseen training samples, the classifier tends to bias towards seen classes.

Soil compaction is a decrease in pore space driven by mechanical stresses. It is prevalent in agriculture, forestry and construction due to too high wheel loads by machinery, leading to adverse impacts to drainage, aeration and soil strength that affects plants and exchanges between soils and the wider environment.

Separability and Compactness Network for Image Recognition and Superresolution
IEEE Transactions on Neural Networks and Learning Systems, 2019Convolutional neural networks (CNNs) have wide applications in pattern recognition and image processing. Despite recent advances, much remains to be done for CNNs to learn a better representation of image samples. Therefore, constant optimizations should

Compact groups of compact galaxies. V
Astrophysics, 1976The lists of compact groups of compact galaxies are continued with a third list, which contains 54 new objects of this class discovered at Byurakan on the Palomar Sky Survey Charts. Searches were made in the +60, +66, +72/sup 0/ zones of the charts, which were completely surveyed except for regions near the galactic equator.

Compactness and Local Compactness
2011The cover definition of compactness is basically point-free; therefore there is no surprise that the basic facts are very much like in the classical case. But a surprise does come: the point-free variant of Stone-?Cech compactification is fully constructive (no choice principle and no use of the excluded middle).

Hilbert compacts, compact ellipsoids, and compact extrema
Journal of Mathematical Sciences, 2010We consider a system of so-called Hilbert compacts K(H) in a Hilbert space H; those Hilbert compacts admit a two-sided estimate by compact ellipsoids in H. For functionals in H, we introduce the notion of a compact extremum achieved at a certain base with respect to the imbedding in K(H).

Compactness properties of locally compact groups
Transformation Groups, 1997For a discrete group \(\Gamma\) and an integer \(n\), finiteness properties \(FP_n\) and \(F_n\) are considered. They are defined as follows: \(\Gamma\) is of type \(FP_n\) if there is a projective resolution of \(\mathbb{Z} \Gamma\) over the trivial \(\mathbb{Z} \Gamma\)-module \(\mathbb{Z}\) with finitely generated modules in dimension \(\leq n\). \(\

Compaction behavior of roller compacted ibuprofen
European Journal of Pharmaceutics and Biopharmaceutics, 2008The effect of roller compaction pressure on the bulk compaction of roller compacted ibuprofen was investigated using instrumented rotary tablet press. Three different roller pressures were utilized to prepare granules and Heckel analysis, Walker analysis, compressibility, and tabletability were performed to derive densification, deformation, course of ...
