A sharp companion of Ostrowski’s inequality for the Riemann–Stieltjes integral and applications
AbstractA sharp companion of Ostrowski’s inequality for the Riemann-Stieltjes integral $\int_a^b {f(t)\;du(t)} $, where f is assumed to be of r-H-Hölder type on [a, b] and u is of bounded variation on [a, b], is proved. Applications to the approximation problem of the Riemann-Stieltjes integral in terms of Riemann-Stieltjes sums are also pointed out.

Abstract Landscape functions are a popular tool used to provide upper bounds for eigenvectors of Schrödinger operators on domains. We review some known results obtained in the last 10 years, unify several approaches used to achieve such bounds, and extend their scope to a large class of linear and nonlinear operators. We also use landscape functions to

New Developments of Hermite–Hadamard Type Inequalities via s‐Convexity and Fractional Integrals
In this paper, we present an identity for differentiable functions that has played an important role in proving Hermite–Hadamard type inequalities for functions whose absolute values of first derivatives are s‐convex functions. Meanwhile, some Hermite–Hadamard type inequalities for the functions whose absolute values of second derivatives are s‐convex ...

A companion of Ostrowski type integral inequality using a 5-step kernel with some applications
The aim of this paper is to establish a new version of Ostrowski?s type integral inequality. The results are obtained by using a new type of kernel with five sections. Applications to a composite quadrature rule and to Cumulative Distributive Functions are considered.

The theory of inequalities is greatly influenced by interval‐valued concepts, and this contribution is explored from several perspectives and domains. The aim of this note is to develop several mathematical inequalities such as Hermite–Hadamard, Fejér, and the product version based on center radius CR‐order relations.

The main aim of this paper is to obtain a improved and generalized version of companion of Ostrowski type integral inequalities for mappings whose first derivatives are of bounded variation. Some previous results are also recaptured as special cases. New quadrature formulae are also provided.

In this paper we establish a refinement of the companion of Ostrowski inequality for functions of bounded variation. Applications for the trapezoid inequality, the mid-point inequality, and to probability density functions are also given.
