The relationship between the private and public law
The analysis of the relationship between any two concepts, including the relationship between the public and private law, must certainly begin by defining them.

This perspective article explores an innovative powder metallurgical approach to producing high‐nitrogen steels by utilizing a mixture of stainless steel and Si3N4. This mixture undergoes hot isostatic pressing followed by direct quenching. The article also examines adapting this method to laser powder bed fusion (PBF‐LB/M) to overcome nitrogen ...

The Uniform Model of the Business-Judgment Rule: a Comparative Study in English, American, Australian and Iranian Law [PDF]
The Business-Judgment Rule can be defined as a doctrine that protects directors from personal responsibilities if they act in good faith, with due care and within the framework of their powers and duties, including the care and fiduciary duty ...

MSO 0-1 law for recursive random trees [PDF]
We prove the monadic second order 0-1 law for two recursive tree models: uniform attachment tree and preferential attachment tree. We also show that the first order 0-1 law does not hold for non-tree uniform attachment models.

Network-Configurations of Dynamic Friction Patterns [PDF]
The complex configurations of dynamic friction patterns-regarding real time contact areas- are transformed into appropriate networks. With this transformation of a system to network space, many properties can be inferred about the structure and dynamics of the system. Here, we analyze the dynamics of static friction, i.e.

Nonlinearity and Domain Switching in a 3D‐Printed Architected Ferroelectric
By combining functional properties measurement with in situ 2D X‐ray microdiffraction experiments, it is shown that nonlinear polarization and strain responses of a 3D‐printed architected ferroelectric are driven by localized progression of domain switching, which depends on nonuniform electric‐field distribution as well as evolving stress fields.

Using novel probe‐based metrics, this study evaluates lattice structures on criteria critical to cellular solid optimization. Triply‐periodic minimal surface (TPMS) lattices outperform other lattices, offering more predictable mechanical behavior in complex design spaces and, as a result, higher performance in optimized models.

The Uniform Law for Sojourn Measures of Random Fields [PDF]
The uniform law for sojourn times of processes with cyclically exchangeable increments is extended to the case of random fields, with general parameter sets, that possess a suitable invariance property.

Elastic‐Wave Propagation in Chiral Metamaterials: A Couple‐Stress Theory Perspective
The intrinsic chirality of chiral metamaterials renders an effective medium based on the classical continuum theory ineffective for predicting their acoustic activity. This limitation is addressed in the present study by employing augmented asymptotic homogenization to derive a couple‐stress‐based effective medium, enabling accurate predictions in the ...
