Towards a Comparative Theology
1994Abstract ‘Christian theology should be pronounced to be a science.’ So declares Thomas Aquinas in article 2 of question I of the Summa Theologiae. The pronouncement seems alien to an age which recognizes physics, chemistry, and biology as sciences, but which is apt to regard theology as a rationalization of personal opinions.
