Strontium isotope geochemistry of alpine tectonite lherzolites: Data compatible with a mantle origin

Earth and Planetary Science Letters, 1978
Abstract Constituent minerals from three alpine lherzolites (Beni Bouchera, Morocco; Lanzo, Italy; and Ronda, Spain) and a clinopyroxene from the Othris complex, Greece, reveal the following range in Sr isotopic composition: clinopyroxenes, 0.70228–0.70370; orthopyroxenes, 0.70265–0.70429; and olivines, 0.70290–0.70831.

Carn Goedog is the likely major source of Stonehenge doleritic bluestones: evidence based on compatible element geochemistry and Principal Component Analysis

Journal of Archaeological Science, 2014
The Stonehenge bluestones were first sourced to outcrops in the high parts of the eastern Mynydd Preseli in SW Wales by H.H. Thomas in the early 1920s. He recognised the distinctive ‘spotted dolerite’ from his fieldwork in that area and suggested that the tors of Carn Meini (also known as Carn Menyn) and Cerrigmarchogion were the most likely sources ...

Structural and Energetic Compatibility: The Driving Principles of Molecular Evolution.

Astrobiology, 2019
In this work, we provide an answer to the question formulated by Albert Eschenmoser: "How would you envisage the bridge between potentially primordial geochemistry that had been disordered and one that gradually became self-organizing?" Analysis of the ...

Geochemistry π: Automated Machine Learning Python Framework for Tabular Data

Geochemistry Geophysics Geosystems
Although machine learning (ML) has brought new insights into geochemistry research, its implementation is laborious and time‐consuming. Here, we announce Geochemistry π, an open‐source automated ML Python framework.

A Novel Dynamic Scenario Equivalence Construction Method for Radar Electromagnetic Compatibility Prediction

IEEE transactions on electromagnetic compatibility (Print)
The electromagnetic environment presents a significant challenge for the dynamic prediction of electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) of electronic equipment due to its wide bandwidth, high dynamics, and large airspace. To address this challenge, we propose
