Common Fixed Point Theorems for Weakly Compatible Mappings
Let \((X,d)\) be a metric space, \(F\), \(G: X \multimap X\) be set-valued mappings and \(I\), \(J:X\to X\) two mappings. The author gives metric conditions which imply that there exists \(x \in X\) such that \(F(x)=G(x)=\{x\}\) and \(I(x)=J(x)=x\).

This study investigates laser shock peening for enhancing fatigue performance of riveted aerospace aluminum joints. A comparative approach with cold expansion combines fatigue testing and synchrotron X‐ray methods. Integrating mechanical testing with residual stress and strain characterization provides insights into how different treatments affect the ...

Common fixed point theorems in 2 non-Archimedean Menger PM-space
We introduce the concept of a 2 non-Archimedean Menger PM-space and prove a common fixed point theorem for weak compatible mappings of type (A).

Freeze‐drying of layered silicate is the key to get coatings with superior gas barrier. Freeze‐drying of layered silicates modified with dodecylamine (DDA) is a highly effective technique for the preparation of barrier pigments that significantly mitigate the permeation of oxygen, water vapor, and hydrogen through polymer films containing these ...

GENERAL FIXED POINT THEOREMS FOR WEAKLY COMPATIBLE MAPS
Summary: The purpose of this note is to use general expansive and conditions minimal type commutativity without continuity requirements to prove some fixed point theorems. The theorems extend known results from the class of compatible continuous expansive maps to a wider class of mappings.

An idea of designing novel sensors is proposed by creating appropriate Schottky barriers and vacancies between isomorphous Core‐CuOii/ Shell‐CuOi secondary microspheres and enhancing catalytic and spill‐over effects, and electronegativity via spontaneous biphasic separation, self‐assembly, and trace‐Ni‐doping.

Time Blocks Decomposition of Multistage Stochastic Optimization Problems
Multistage stochastic optimization problems are, by essence, complex because their solutions are indexed both by stages (time) and by uncertainties (scenarios). Their large scale nature makes decomposition methods appealing. The most common approaches are

An Inkjet‐Printed Platinum‐Based Temperature Sensing Element on Polyimide Substrates
An inkjet‐printed, meander‐structured, nanoparticle platinum‐based resistive temperature sensors on polyimide substrates are demonstrated as proof‐of‐concept. Optimized sintering at 250°C enables stable conductive structures. The Pt100‐ and Pt1000‐type sensors exhibit linear resistance–temperature characteristics with stable TCR in the 20°C–80°C range,

Orbifolds, geometric structures and foliations. Applications to harmonic maps
In recent years a lot of attention has been paid to topological spaces which are a bit more general than smooth manifolds - orbifolds. Orbifolds are intuitively speaking manifolds with some singularities. The formal definition is also modelled on that of
