Adaptive Load Compensation Algorithm Based on Signal Compensation Structure
2021 XXIV International Conference on Soft Computing and Measurements (SCM), 2021This article is a study into hybrid flight control actuators operating under high external loads and mutual loads affecting the same actuators. It gives an analysis of a general simulation model of a control plant and an investigation of an adaptive control algorithm for load compensation in the system based on a special compensation structure taking ...

The report describes the ageing model of the OLED efficacy w.r.t. the time and the current density and its application in simulating a compensation algorithm. A simple compensation algorithm is investigated and optimized w.r.t. the model parameters. The sensitivity of the algorithm w.r.t. the perturbations of the model parameters is analysed as well.

Parallel Vectorized Implementations of Compensated Summation Algorithms
2023The aim of this paper is to show that Kahan’s and Gill-Møller compensated summation algorithms that allow to achieve high accuracy of summing long sequences of floating-point numbers can be efficiently vectorized and parallelized. The new implementation uses Intel AVX-512 intrinsics together with OpenMP constructs in order to utilize SIMD extension of ...

Operator Dependant Compensated Algorithms
12th GAMM - IMACS International Symposium on Scientific Computing, Computer Arithmetic and Validated Numerics (SCAN 2006), 2006Compensated algorithms improve the accuracy of a re- sult evaluating a correcting term that compensates the finite precision of the computation. The implementation core of compensated algorithms is the computation of the rounding errors generated by the floating point operators.

Algorithmic synthesis of control compensators
Proceedings of the IEEE International Symposium on Industrial Electronics, 2002The submodule construction problem is examined from the point of view of the formal specification language LOTOS. A method for the construction of the unknown nth submodule in a system of known n-1 submodules is presented, taking advantage of the finite state machine approach using regular languages.

Gravity compensation algorithms for parallel haptic interface
Proceedings. 11th IEEE International Workshop on Robot and Human Interactive Communication, 2003This paper presents an experimental comparison of different algorithms for the gravity compensation of parallel mechanisms, with special reference to a 5DOF haptic interface that has been realized at PERCRO. Two methods for the static balancing of this mechanism have been investigated: a classical method, based on Lagrange's approach and an algorithm ...

Difference-Compensated Consensus Algorithms
2016Difference feedback control described as \(u(t)=x(t)-x(t-T)\) with \(u\in R\), \(x\in R\) and \(T>0\), which is also named as time-delayed feedback control, has been an effective method for stabilizing unstable periodic orbits of chaotic dynamics [1] and stabilizing an equilibrium point for a normal dynamical system [2].

De-interlacing algorithms based on motion compensation
IEEE Transactions on Consumer Electronics, 2005Motion estimation (ME) and motion compensation (MC) based deinterlacing has been become the mainstream technology of industry. The existing ME/MC algorithms are mostly based on block matching (BM) strategy, in which various BM algorithms are proposed with different tradeoff between the matching accuracy and the CPU time.

Compensation Algorithms for the Pendulous Gyrocompass
Navigation, 2001: This paper presents compensation algorithms for the computerized pendulous gyrocompass. It shows the compensation methods of the long period dynamic deviation, as well as the equilibrium position of the pendulous-gyrocompass deviation. The paper demonstrates approaches to removing certain usual modeling assumptions for gyrocompass motion, thereby ...

Novel illumination compensation algorithm for industrial inspection
Journal of Electronic Imaging, 2001The image reference approach is very popular in industrial inspection due to its generality for different inspection tasks. Unfortunately, this approach is sensitive to illumination variations. A novel illumination compensation algorithm is proposed in this paper for correcting smooth intensity variations due to illumination changes.
