Compensation claims against trustees
The thesis examines the claims that may be brought against express trustees for pecuniary compensation. It contends that a difference of principle divides this conventional category in two. Some compensation claims complain that the trustee has breached

Historical Foundation and Practical Guideline for Ferroelectric Switching Kinetic Studies
The P and U pulses in the conventional PUND measurements are not identical because of the interplay between switching current and the measurement circuit components. This circuit effect can lead to a shift in polarization transients and misinterpreted physics in the switching kinetics.

Near‐Infrared Light‐Driven Zn/Au Janus Micromotors for Multiplex SERS Detection of Anticancer Drugs
Zn/Au Janus micromotors, propelled by thermophoretic effects under NIR light, function as active SERS platforms for single and multiplex detection of anticancer drugs. Their dynamic motion enhances analyte exchange at the Au interface, reducing saturation and competitive adsorption, thereby improving sensitivity and extending the linear detection range.

A Gear Backlash Identification and Compensation Method to Enhance Industrial Robot Repeatability
Industrial robots are extensively utilized in machinery manufacturing owing to their multiple degrees of freedom (DoF) and inherent flexibility. However, backlash not only impairs the bidirectional repeatability and multi-directional repeatability of the

Interplay Between Phase Evolution, Fe Migration, and Oxygen Redox in O3‐Type NaxFeyMn1−yO2 Cathodes
Why do Na‐ion battery cathodes, that are compositionally closely related, follow different structural paths during battery operation? This work shows how Fe content controls when iron atoms migrate from their original sites. Early migration locks the layers and blocks key phase transitions, whereas delayed migration permits fuller structural ...

3D Printing Innovations in Polymeric Porous and Patterned Architecture
Polymeric foams occupy a unique structural space between dense solids and open networks, where engineered void fraction governs mechanical compliance, thermal resistance, and mass transport. Additive manufacturing now enables precise spatial control over cellular architecture, unlocking designer foam structures across applications spanning crash ...

Promotions, Demotions, Halo Effects and Earnings Dynamics of American Executives [PDF]
This paper explores the dynamics of wage growth in corporate hierarchies. Using panel data techniques, we estimate the causal effect of current and past transitions in reporting level and past earnings growth on components of current earnings and ...
