Probabilistic model for competing risks

Neutrophil‐Mimetic MRI Enables Ultra‐Early Detection of Vascular Inflammation After Stroke
In this study, we developed neutrophil‐mimetic MRI probes that detect ultra‐early neuroinflammation following ischemic stroke by targeting E‐selectin. Within seconds of their injection, these microparticles mimic initial leukocyte adhesion to the activated cerebral endothelium.

We develop a covalent organic framework‐loaded Traditional Chinese Medicine monomer nanodrug delivery system (ISL@bCOF) via boron‐oxygen bonds, a smart response to glucose for delivering AI‐driven isoliquiritigenin (ISL) targeting ZBP1. This dynamic release mechanism, combined with transdermal delivery technology via potent microneedles, can modulate ...

‘Modeling and Analysis of Competing Risks Data’
there has been much research on analyzing various forms of competing risks data. Nevertheless, there are several occasions in survival studies, where the existing models and methodologies are inadequate for the analysis competing risks data ...

Natural Biomaterials for Osteochondral Repair: From Source to Strategy
Biological origin‐guided overview of natural biomaterials and therapeutic strategies for osteochondral tissue engineering. The circular diagram categorizes representative materials and strategies into plant/algae‐derived, microbial‐derived, animal‐derived, and human‐derived sources, centered on an osteochondral defect repair model.

Competing risks analyses: objectives and approaches
Studies in cardiology often record the time to multiple disease events such as death, myocardial infarction, or hospitalization. Competing risks methods allow for the analysis of the time to the first observed event and the type of the first event.

Bacteria‐Responsive Nanostructured Drug Delivery Systems for Targeted Antimicrobial Therapy
Bacteria‐responsive nanocarriers are designed to release antimicrobials only in the presence of infection‐specific cues. This selective activation ensures drug release precisely at the site of infection, avoiding premature or indiscriminate release, and enhancing efficacy.
