Intrabandgap States Engineering in Functionalized Nanodiamond to Generate Solvated Electrons for Photocatalysis Under Solar Illumination

The negative electron affinity of diamond allows to emit highly reductive electrons. By introducing intra‐bandgap states and an optimized electron transfer mechanism by surface functionalization with Ru(bpy)3, the formation of solvated electrons is achieved upon solar irradiation.

Self‐Refreshing Bi‐Based Active Sites for Efficient and Durable Electrochemical CO2 Reduction

A self‐refreshing Bi‐based catalyst is developed through the fabrication of a novel basic bismuth nitrate pre‐catalyst, which exhibits differential active sites of Bi2O2CO3 at low potentials and metallic Bi phases at high potentials, self‐repairing capability, and thus wide‐potential‐window efficiency and ultralong durability toward electrochemical CO2

Controlling 3D Contractility via Engineered Fibrous Hydrogel Composites

Upcycling of Disposable Face Masks into Water‐Resistant and Flame Retardant Foams

Disposable mask waste is upcycled into lightweight polypropylene‐based foams with tunable porosity and composite architectures reinforced by ear‐loop fibers. The sustainable solvent‐based process enables upcycling rates of 91% and solvent recovery of >90%.

Near‐Infrared Light‐Programmable Negative Differential Transconductance in Organic Electrochemical Transistors for Reconfigurable Logic

Organic electrochemical transistors based on a Near‐Infrared (NIR)‐responsive polymer p(C4DPP‐T) and iodide electrolyte exhibit optically programmable negative differential transconductance. NIR illumination triggers an iodine‐mediated redox process, enabling a transition from binary to ternary conductance states within a single‐layer device.
