Physical Fitness Cut‐Points for Early Detection of Obesity Risk in Preschool Children

ABSTRACT Objective This study aimed to establish cut‐points for cardiorespiratory fitness, muscular strength, and speed‐agility and to evaluate their ability to detect general and central obesity risk in preschool children aged 3–5 years. Methods Briefly, 3179 Spanish preschoolers (52.8% boys) were evaluated.

Testing VIPV Curved Modules: Methods and Challenges

Progress in Photovoltaics: Research and Applications, EarlyView.
This work presents procedures and equipment for characterizing curved vehicle‐integrated photovoltaic (VIPV) modules through STC I–V curve and relative angular response (RAR) measurements. Outdoor measurements are compared with indoor measurements obtained using a collimated‐light solar simulator, showing excellent agreement for STC I–V curves.

Gene‐specific double‐stranded RNAs induce mortality in the South African mealybug Delottococcus aberiae

Gene‐specific double‐stranded RNAs effectively silence essential genes in the invasive citrus pest Delottococcus aberiae, leading to significant mortality through both microinjection and oral delivery. These results provide proof of concept for RNA interference‐based biopesticides as selective and sustainable tools for citrus integrated pest management.
