Spatial biology in cancer epigenetics

Spatial epigenomics combines molecular profiling with tissue architecture to reveal how gene regulation is organized within intact tissues. In cancer, these technologies uncover the mechanisms driving tumor heterogeneity and microenvironmental interactions, opening new opportunities for biomarker discovery and precision medicine.

Paclitaxel induces NM2‐dependent cellular contraction through GEF‐H1 dissociation from microtubules and RhoA/ROCK activation in cancer cells

Taxanes are widely used chemotherapeutics whose effects on cellular mechanics remain poorly understood. We show that paclitaxel induces rapid cellular contraction by promoting GEF‐H1 dissociation from microtubules and non‐muscle myosin II activation through RhoA/ROCK.

“Low‐Positive” MOG‐IgG Cases Among Adults With a First Event Suggestive of Multiple Sclerosis

ABSTRACT Objective To determine the prevalence and clinical characteristics of patients with “low‐positive” (LP) MOG‐IgG (titres 1:160–1:320) among adults with a first demyelinating event (FDE) suggestive of multiple sclerosis (MS). Methods From the Barcelona CIS inception cohort, we included adult patients with serum collected ≤ 6 months from the FDE.

Pyridinium Cations Act as Charge Reservoirs in Expanded Halide Perovskite Analogs at High Pressure

Redox‐innocent pyridinium derivatives can act as charge reservoirs in expanded tin‐iodide perovskite analogs. Material compression reduces the energy gap between the pyridinium π* acceptor orbital and the valence‐band maximum, facilitating electron transfer from the framework to the molecules and thereby significantly increasing electronic conductivity

From Bulk to Colloidal Nanocrystals: Top‐Down Synthesis of Highly Luminescent Cs2ZrCl6:Te4+ Double Perovskite Nanocrystals for X‐Ray Imaging

Top‐down ultrasonication produces highly emissive Cs2ZrCl6:Te4+ nanocrystals (NCs) with a PLQY of 65%, which is higher compared to that of the NCs synthesized by typical bottom‐up hot‐injection synthesis. The colloidal Cs2ZrCl6:Te4+ NCs have been found to be potential candidates for x‐ray scintillation imaging.
