Improving productivity in large scale testing at the compiler level by changing the intermediate language from C++ to Java

open access: yesActa Universitatis Sapientiae: Informatica, 2021
This paper is based on research results achieved by a collaboration between Ericsson Hungary Ltd. and the Large Scale Testing Research Lab of Eötvös Loránd University, Budapest. We present design issues and empirical observations on extending an existing

Trace-Relating Compiler Correctness and Secure Compilation [PDF]

open access: yes, 2020
AbstractCompiler correctness is, in its simplest form, defined as the inclusion of the set of traces of the compiled program into the set of traces of the original program, which is equivalent to the preservation of all trace properties. Here traces collect, for instance, the externally observable events of each execution.

Plasma lipidomic and metabolomic profiles in high‐grade glioma patients before and after 72‐h presurgery water‐only fasting

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Presurgery 72‐h fasting in GB patients leads to adaptations of plasma lipids and polar metabolites. Fasting reduces lysophosphatidylcholines and increases free fatty acids, shifts triglycerides toward long‐chain TGs and increases branched‐chain amino acids, alpha aminobutyric acid, and uric acid.

Impact of Wolf Thresholding on Background Subtraction for Human Motion Detection

open access: yesCompiler
Series of motion detection based on background subtraction there is an image segmentation stage. Thresholding is a common technique used for the segmentation process. There are two types that can be used in thresholding techniques namely local and global.

An efficient quantum compiler that reduces T count [PDF]

open access: yesQuantum Science and Technology, 2017
Before executing a quantum algorithm, one must first decompose the algorithm into machine-level instructions compatible with the architecture of the quantum computer, a process known as quantum compiling.

Inhibitor of DNA binding‐1 is a key regulator of cancer cell vasculogenic mimicry

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Elevated expression of transcriptional regulator inhibitor of DNA binding 1 (ID1) promoted cancer cell‐mediated vasculogenic mimicry (VM) through regulation of pro‐angiogenic and pro‐cancerous genes (e.g. VE‐cadherin (CDH5), TIE2, MMP9, DKK1). Higher ID1 expression also increased metastases to the lung and the liver.

Spatial: a language and compiler for application accelerators

open access: yesACM-SIGPLAN Symposium on Programming Language Design and Implementation, 2018
Industry is increasingly turning to reconfigurable architectures like FPGAs and CGRAs for improved performance and energy efficiency. Unfortunately, adoption of these architectures has been limited by their programming models.
