Multi-feature graphs and contrastive learning for rumor detection on social media

open access: yesMachine Learning with Applications
Social media platforms are rife with rumor texts, which, if not mitigated in time, can lead to widespread misinformation. Traditional rumor detection methods often rely on textual graphs that fail to capture polysemy and struggle with the informal, slang-

CEACAM1 participation in breast cancer progression

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
In invasive breast cancer (BC), CEACAM1 shifts from an apical to a uniform membranous/cytoplasmic pattern, or is lost, as tumors dedifferentiate, inversely tracking the Ki‐67 proliferative index. In MCF‐7 cells, only CEACAM1‐4L suppresses proliferation, repressing cell cycle and growth factor genes.

Spatial biology in cancer epigenetics

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Spatial epigenomics combines molecular profiling with tissue architecture to reveal how gene regulation is organized within intact tissues. In cancer, these technologies uncover the mechanisms driving tumor heterogeneity and microenvironmental interactions, opening new opportunities for biomarker discovery and precision medicine.

Cross‐Domain Graph Anomaly Detection via Graph Transfer and Graph Decouple

open access: yesCAAI Transactions on Intelligence Technology
Cross‐domain graph anomaly detection (CD‐GAD) is a promising task that leverages knowledge from a labelled source graph to guide anomaly detection on an unlabelled target graph.

Intrapatient tumour heterogeneity and clonal evolution in an autopsy study of metastatic salivary gland cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Tumour heterogeneity and clonal evolution of metastatic salivary gland cancer were evaluated in two patients with adenoid carcinoma and one patient with myoepithelial carcinoma. Radiology‐guided autopsy enabled multi‐region sampling (total samples n = 149), followed by whole‐genome sequencing and phylogenetic reconstruction (17 tumour samples, 4–7 per ...

ADP‐ribosylation: An emerging regulator of the epigenome

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
ADP‐ribosylation has emerged as a dynamic epigenetic signaling mechanism that modifies histones and chromatin‐associated proteins. Through coordinated PARylation and MARylation, it integrates with other histone modifications to regulate chromatin structure, transcription factor activity, and gene expression, influencing genome function and disease ...

Review of economic methods used in complementary medicine

open access: yes, 2010
Objective: The purpose of this research is to review the economic methods used in complementary medicine (CM). Method: A comprehensive literature review was undertaken (1995-2007) to identify peer-reviewed articles related to economic methods used in CM.

Self-complementary graphs

open access: yesJournal of Combinatorial Theory, Series B, 1974
AbstractIn this paper a new algorithm is given for the construction of self-complementary graphs, and results concerning structural properties and adjacency matrices of these graphs are presented.

Partial FAK suppression promotes tumor growth, an effect reversed by macrophage p110δ PI3K inactivation

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Partial inhibition of focal adhesion kinase (FAK) can paradoxically promote tumor growth, rather than simply producing a weaker antitumor effect than that observed with strong FAK suppression. In breast cancer and melanoma models, targeting p110δ PI3K, particularly in macrophages, counteracted these tumor‐promoting effects, highlighting the importance ...
