Design and Analysis of Circular Slotted Microstrip Patch Antenna [PDF]

open access: yesInternational Journal of Electronics and Telecommunications, 2019
This paper presents a novel complementary CPWfed slotted microstrip patch antenna for operation at 2.4 GHz, 5.2 GHz and 6.3 GHz frequencies. The primary structure consists of the complementary split ring resonator slots on a patch and the design is ...

Double-split labyrinth resonator with defective ground system for wide-band band-stop filter application

open access: yesAIP Advances, 2018
A labyrinth resonator with defective ground structure (DGS) is introduced for designing a wide-band band-stop filter in order to adjust the resonating characteristics by varying the dimension of the structure to cover 2.75 – 10.30 GHz.

Analytical Method to Estimate the Complex Permittivity of Oil Samples

open access: yesSensors, 2018
In this paper, an analytical method to estimate the complex dielectric constant of liquids is presented. The method is based on the measurement of the transmission coefficient in an embedded microstrip line loaded with a complementary split ring ...

Study and Design of Bandstop Filtres Based on a Multiple Co-Directional Complementary Split Ring Resonator (CSRR)

open access: yesE3S Web of Conferences, 2023
The objective of this study is to enhance the performance of metamaterial filters. Indeed, the distinctive electromagnetic characteristics of metamaterials, along with their capacity to guide and manipulate electromagnetic waves in ways unattainable by natural materials, have rendered metamaterials progressively appealing in recent years.

Boosting the Magnetic Response of a Composite Nanostructure in the Near‐Visible Region with a Fano Resonance

open access: yesAdvanced Photonics Research, Volume 7, Issue 1, January 2026.
Optical simulations of composite plasmonic split‐ring resonators show that a magnetic response can be obtained at wavelengths near the visible regime. The response is further increased by extending the geometry and enabling a Fano resonance through the coupling of magnetic dipoles.

Time‐Domain Near‐Field Scanning Microscopy of Terahertz Metasurfaces

open access: yesAdvanced Photonics Research, Volume 7, Issue 1, January 2026.
Time‐domain near‐field scanning terahertz microscopy provides direct access to subwavelength electromagnetic fields on metasurfaces. By combining controlled polarization excitation with nanoscale probing, this technique enables quantitative visualization of localized hotspots, surface‐wave propagation, and wavefront manipulation, offering a powerful ...

Design of a High‐Rejection Filtering Antenna Based on Nonuniform Metasurface

open access: yesInternational Journal of Antennas and Propagation, Volume 2026, Issue 1, 2026.
This paper presents a high‐rejection filtering antenna based on nonuniform metasurface (MTS). The antenna consists of three metal layers and two substrate layers. The upper metal layer is nonperiodic MTS patches with removed units. The MTS is fed by a T‐shaped microstrip line at the bottom through by a pair of disconnected bow‐tie slots etched on the ...

Multi-resonator using complementary split ring resonator for chip-less RFID application

open access: yes, 2015
A novel multi-resonator using slotted complementary split ring resonator (CSRR) on planar transmission line is proposed for the design of chip-less RFID tag. The 4 bit multi resonator is operates from 4 to 5 GHz.
