Asymmetric complementary split ring resonator for identification of materials [PDF]

open access: yesIOP Conference Series: Materials Science and Engineering, 2021
Abstract In this paper, a new microwave sensor for identification of materials is presented. The sensor is composed of an asymmetric complementary split ring resonator etched on the ground side of the microstrip line. The sensor is designed using low cost FR4 substrate. The S21 simulation result shows the unloaded resonator operates at 6.

Analysis and Design of a Dual Band-Notched UWB Antenna Using Complementary Split Ring Resonator [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Communications Software and Systems, 2018
In this paper, the complementary split ring resonator (CSRR) is studied and applied to design a printed ultra wideband (UWB) antenna with dual band-notched characteristics. Dual band-notched function is obtained by incorporating the CSRR in the radiating

Design and Fabrication of Compact, Multiband, High Gain, High Isolation, Metamaterial-Based MIMO Antennas for Wireless Communication Systems

open access: yesMicromachines, 2023
We proposed a novel approach based on a complementary split-ring resonator metamaterial in a two-port MIMO antenna, giving high gain, multiband results with miniature size. We have also analyzed a circular disk metasurface design.

Ultrastrong coupling in the near field of complementary split-ring resonators [PDF]

open access: yesPhysical Review B, 2014
The ultrastrong light-matter interaction regime was investigated in metallic and superconducting complementary split ring resonators coupled to the cyclotron transition of two dimensional electron gases. The sub-wavelength light confinement and the large optical dipole moment of the cyclotron transition yield record high normalized coupling rates of up

Analysis and design of a compact CRLH inspired – Defected ground resonators for triple band antenna applications

open access: yesEngineering Science and Technology, an International Journal, 2020
In this work, a triple-band negative refraction index metamaterial antenna employing a new configuration of the complementary split ring resonator is presented. The antenna has been designed to operate at 2.4 GHz, 2.9 GHz, and 4.38 GHz. The complementary

An ultrastrongly coupled single terahertz meta-atom

open access: yesNature Communications, 2022
By combining an asymmetric immersion lens setup and a complementary resonating metasurface, the authors are able to resolve the far-field transmission of an ultrastrongly coupled, highly subwavelength split-ring single resonator at millimeter wavelengths.

CSRR based patch antenna for Wi-Fi and WiMAX Applications

open access: yesAdvanced Electromagnetics, 2018
In this paper, a novel compact microstrip patch antenna is proposed for Wi- Fi and WiMAX bands. To achieve miniaturization the dimensions of the square radiating patch are chosen with reference to the high frequency band (3.3 GHz).
