Utility of a Novel 12‐Lead ECG Criterion for Localizing Manifest Right Sided Accessory Pathways: A Derivation Study

open access: yesJournal of Arrhythmia, Volume 42, Issue 2, April 2026.
Compared to previously tested ECG signs, The PR/QRS ratio had the best predictive performance of right septal versus right free wall accessory pathway locations. This simple yet powerful tool has the potential to improve patient safety, optimize ablation strategies, and ultimately lead to better outcomes for patients with accessory pathways.

Dancing Leadless Pacemaker: Dislodgement of a Ventricular Screw‐In Leadless Pacemaker Driven by Severe Tricuspid Regurgitation

open access: yesJournal of Arrhythmia, Volume 42, Issue 2, April 2026.
Following successful right ventricular septal fixation, the leadless pacemaker abruptly dislodged under the influence of a severe tricuspid regurgitant jet. Alternating regurgitant and inferior vena cava inflow forces produced a characteristic to‐and‐fro oscillation between the right atrium and inferior vena cava, with eventual successful retrieval ...

Device‐Specific Responses to Pacemaker‐Mediated Arrhythmia in Patients With Prolonged Ventriculoatrial Conduction: A Comparative Simulation Study

open access: yesJournal of Arrhythmia, Volume 42, Issue 2, April 2026.
Simulation‐based comparison of five pacemakers reveals that algorithmic differences via manufacturers significantly affect detection and termination of pacemaker‐mediated arrhythmias during prolonged ventriculoatrial conduction. Devices with a longer post‐ventricular atrial refractory period and an atrial pacing delay algorithm offer better protection ...

REgistry Of Catheter AbLation After Congenital Heart Disease Surgery(REAL‐CHD Registry)

open access: yesJournal of Arrhythmia, Volume 42, Issue 2, April 2026.
Catheter ablation for postoperative CHD‐related arrhythmias is increasingly performed in Japan and can be achieved with acceptable safety. ABSTRACT Background Advances in surgical management have improved long‐term survival in patients with congenital heart disease (CHD), leading to a growing population of adults with postoperative arrhythmias. However,
