A Boolean algebra B is a retract of an algebra A if there exist homomorphisms ƒ: B → A and g: A → B such that gƒ is the identity map B. Some important properties of retracts of Boolean algebras are stated in [3, §§ 30, 31, 32]. If A and B are a-complete,

Pairs of Boolean elements based on a `concrete' Rauszer Boolean algebra
With the development of practical applications in the domain of information systems, a wide variety of non-classical logics are part of current studies.

A method for bi-decomposition of partial Boolean functions
The problem of bi-decomposition of a Boolean function is to represent a given Boolean function in the form of a given logic algebra operation over two Boolean functions and so is reduced to specification of these functions.

Using Whales to Complete a Boolean Algebra
Let \(B\) be a Boolean algebra and \(A\) be a subset of \(B\). Then \(A\) is called a whale of \(B\) if (1) \(a\in A,\) \(b\in B\) and \(b \leq a\) imply \(b\in A\); (2) sup\(\{a \mid a\in A\}=1\). The author uses the whales of \(B\) to construct the completion of \(B\).

Representation of a Boolean algebra by its triangular norms
Given a complete and atomic Boolean algebra $B$, there exists a family $\tau_{\gamma}$ of triangular norms on $B$ such that, under the partial ordering of triangular norms, $\tau_{\gamma}$ is a Boolean algebra isomorphic to $B$, where $\gamma$ is the set

THE INTERNAL IDEAL LATTICE IN THE TOPOS OF M-SETS [PDF]
We believe that the study of the notions of universal algebra modelled in an arbitarry topos rather than in the category of sets provides a deeper understanding of the real features of the algebraic notions.

A note on countably generated complete Boolean algebras
In this note, we construct (assuming the G.C.H.) a countably generated cardinal preserving complete Boolean algebra of cardinality ℵ ω + 2 {\aleph _{\omega + 2}}
