The Role of Completeness in Convergence of Evolutionary Algorithms

2005 IEEE Congress on Evolutionary Computation, 2005
It is interesting that typically in the proof of convergence of evolutionary algorithms only elitist selection is considered. In this paper, we stress out that truly in reaching optimum of the fitness function completeness of search plays probably even more important role. The elitist selection helps in reaching the optimum.

Completion of Schwartz Convergence Vector Spaces

Mathematische Nachrichten, 1985
In Math. Nachr. 117, 37-49 (1984; Zbl 0568.46009), we have studied the category of \(L_ eL_ m\)-embedded Schwartz spaces, a category that contains all Hausdorff topological Schwartz spaces as well as all polar bornological Schwartz spaces in the sense of H. Hogbe-Nlend.
