This study presents a fast and accurate calculation tool to predict conveying of polymer melts in single‐screw extruders. Integrating generalized sub‐models into network theory allows to represent the complex screw shapes and material behavior more realistically. Tests on an industrial extruder show close agreement with experiments, outperforming older

Completely and totally distributive categories I
The paper deals with notions of completely and totally distributive categories. In 1978, Street and Walters defined a locally small category \(\mathcal{K}\) to be totally cocomplete if its Yoneda functor \(Y\) has a left adjoint \(X\). Such a \(\mathcal{K}\) is \textit{totally distributive} if \(X\) has a left adjoint \(W\). A locally small category \(\

The Involutive Quantaloid of Completely Distributive Lattices [PDF]
Let L be a complete lattice and let Q(L) be the unital quantale of join-continuous endo-functions of L. We prove the following result: Q(L) is an involutive (that is, non-commutative cyclic $\star$-autonomous) quantale if and only if L is a completely distributive lattice.

ABSTRACT This paper examines the relationship between sustainability transitions and local development through the case of Colombia's medicinal cannabis industry. It highlights how neglecting place‐specific needs and development expectations can hinder equitable transitions and reinforce existing socio‐economic disparities.
