(Open) packing number of some graph products [PDF]
The packing number of a graph $G$ is the maximum number of closed neighborhoods of vertices in $G$ with pairwise empty intersections. Similarly, the open packing number of $G$ is the maximum number of open neighborhoods in $G$ with pairwise empty ...

Polarized Rigid Del Pezzo Surfaces in Low Codimension
We provide explicit graded constructions of orbifold del Pezzo surfaces with rigid orbifold points of type ki×1ri(1,ai):3≤ri≤10,ki∈Z≥0 as well-formed and quasismooth varieties embedded in some weighted projective space.

Which Schubert varieties are local complete intersections? [PDF]
We characterize by pattern avoidance the Schubert varieties for $\mathrm{GL}_n$ which are local complete intersections (lci). For those Schubert varieties which are local complete intersections, we give an explicit minimal set of equations cutting out ...

ELLIPTIC GENERA OF COMPLETE INTERSECTIONS [PDF]
We propose a new definition of the elliptic genera for complete intersections, not necessarily nonsingular, in projective spaces. We also prove they coincide with the expressions obtained from Landau–Ginzburg model by an elementary argument.

Reinforcement Learning-Based Autonomous Driving at Intersections in CARLA Simulator
Intersections are considered one of the most complex scenarios in a self-driving framework due to the uncertainty in the behaviors of surrounding vehicles and the different types of scenarios that can be found.

Are complete intersections complete intersections?
A commutative local ring is generally defined to be a complete intersection if its completion is isomorphic to the quotient of a regular local ring by an ideal generated by a regular sequence. It has not previously been determined whether or not such a ring is necessarily itself the quotient of a regular ring by an ideal generated by a regular sequence.

A remark on generalized complete intersections
We observe that an interesting method to produce non-complete intersection subvarieties, the generalized complete intersections from L. Anderson and coworkers, can be understood and made explicit by using standard Cech cohomology machinery.

We investigate whether surfaces that are complete intersections of quadrics and complete intersection surfaces in the Segre embedded product \mathbf{P}^1\times \mathbf{P}^k\hookrightarrow \mathbf{P}^{2k+1} can belong to the same Hilbert scheme. For
