Lattices of choice functions and consensus problems [PDF]

open access: yes
. In this paper we consider the three classes of choice functionssatisfying the three significant axioms called heredity (H), concordance (C) and outcast (O).

Atoms in lattice of radical classes of lattice-ordered groups [PDF]

open access: yes, 1993
summary:There are several special kinds of radical classes. For example, a product radical class is closed under forming product, a closed-kernel radical class is closed under taking order closures, a $K$-radical class is closed under taking $K ...

Control of Polarization and Polar Helicity in BiFeO3 by Epitaxial Strain and Interfacial Chemistry

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
In BiFeO3 thin films, the interplay of interfacial chemistry, electrostatics, and epitaxial strain is engineered to stabilize homohelicity in polarization textures at the domain scale. The synergistic use of a Bi2O2‐terminated Aurivillius buffer layer and a highly anisotropic compressive epitaxial strain offers new routes to control the polar‐texture ...

Face Lattice Computation under Symmetry [PDF]

open access: yes, 2008
The last 15 years have seen a significant progress in the development of general purpose algorithms and software for polyhedral computation. Many polytopes of practical interest have enormous output complexity and are often highly degenerate, posing ...

Ferroelectricity in Antiferromagnetic Wurtzite Nitrides

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
We establish MnSiN2${\rm MnSiN}_2$ and MnGeN2${\rm MnGeN}_2$ as aristotypes of a new multiferroic wurtzite family that simultaneously exhibits ferroelectricity and antiferromagnetism with altermagnetic spin splitting. By strategically substituting alkaline‐earth metals, we predict new materials with coexisting switchable polarization, spin texture, and

On the Complete Lattice Structure of Ordered Functional Weighted Averaging Operators

open access: yesMathematics
Ordered functional weighted averaging (OFWA) operators are a generalization of the well-known ordered weighted averaging (OWA) operators in which functions, instead of single values, are considered as weights.

An Isomorphism between Abstract Polyhedral Cones and Definite Boolean Functions [PDF]

open access: yes, 1999
Polyhedral cones can be represented by sets of linear inequalities that express inter-variable relationships. These inequalities express inter-variable relationships that are quantified by the ratios between the variable coefficients.

Intermediate Resistive State in Wafer‐Scale Vertical MoS2 Memristors Through Lateral Silver Filament Growth for Artificial Synapse Applications

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
In MOCVD MoS2 memristors, a current compliance‐regulated Ag filament mechanism is revealed. The filament ruptures spontaneously during volatile switching, while subsequent growth proceeds vertically through the MoS2 layers and then laterally along the van der Waals gaps during nonvolatile switching.

A new lattice-based partially blind signature with more complete proof

open access: yesJournal of Information and Intelligence
Partially blind signatures are introduced on the basis of blind signatures, which not only retain the advantages of blind signatures, but also solve the contradiction between anonymity and controllability in blind signatures.

Human Gut Bacteria and Lipidic Nanoparticles: Particle Composition Predicts Structural Transformation and Bacterial Biocompatibility

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Lipidic nanoparticles (LNPs) were incubated with 21 gut bacteria frequently associated with the human microbiome. SAXS revealed that ∼75% of tested species induced structural transformations in monoolein LNPs, whereas phytantriol and phospholipid formulations remained unaffected.
