The order $\sigma $-complete vector lattice of AM-compact operators [PDF]
summary:We establish necessary and sufficient conditions under which the linear span of positive AM-compact operators (in the sense of Fremlin) from a Banach lattice $E$ into a Banach lattice $F$ is an order $\sigma $-complete vector ...

Phase Field Failure Modeling: Brittle‐Ductile Dual‐Phase Microstructures under Compressive Loading
The approach by Amor and the approach by Miehe and Zhang for asymmetric damage behavior in the phase field method for fracture are compared regarding their fitness for microcrack‐based failure modeling. The comparison is performed for the case of a dual‐phase microstructure with a brittle and a ductile constituent.

Disjunctive Ideals of Almost Distributive Lattices
The concept of disjunctive ideals is introduced in an Almost Distributive Lattice (ADL). It is proved that the set of all disjunctive ideals of an ADL forms a complete lattice.

Automorphisms and Definability (of Reducts) for Upward Complete Structures
The Svenonius theorem establishes the correspondence between definability of relations in a countable structure and automorphism groups of these relations in extensions of the structure.

Fostering Innovation: Streamlining Magnetocaloric Materials Research by Digitalization
Magnetocaloric cooling (MCE) is an environmentally friendly refrigeration method with great potential. Optimizing MCE materials involves the preparation and screening of large quantities of samples, which in turn generates a large amount of data. A digitalization approach is presented that uses ontologies, knowledge graphs, and digital workflows to ...

Games with complementarities [PDF]
We introduce a class of games with complementarities that has the quasisupermodular games, hence the supermodular games, as a special case. Our games retain the main property of quasisupermodular games: the Nash set is a nonempty complete lattice. We use

An 𝑚-orthocomplete orthomodular lattice is 𝑚-complete [PDF]
We call an orthomodular lattice L m \mathcal {L}\;m -orthocomplete for an infinite cardinal m m if every orthogonal family of ≦ m \leqq m ...

We develop a data‐driven method to derive the mathematical expressions of the Flory–Huggins interaction parameter χ for the swelling behavior of temperature–responsive hydrogels. Starting from initial assumptions of χ, our workflow combines Bayesian optimization, Flory–Rehner theory, and symbolic regression to generate candidate χ expressions.

Hyper Rl-Ideals in Hyper Residuated Lattices
In this paper, we introduce the notion of a (strong) hyper RL-ideal in hyper residuated lattices and give some properties and characterizations of them.

Flexible protein folding by ant colony optimization [PDF]
Protein structure prediction is one of the most challenging topics in bioinformatics. As the protein structure is found to be closely related to its functions, predicting the folding structure of a protein to judge its functions is meaningful to the ...
