3D‐Printed Sulfur‐Derived Polymers With Controlled Architectures for Lithium‐Sulfur Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Rheology‐guided formulation design for direct ink writing enables the fabrication of 3D sulfur copolymer cathodes with controlled architectures for lithium‐sulfur batteries. The printed electrodes exhibit multiscale porosity and high sulfur utilization, delivering enhanced electrochemical performance compared to conventional cast electrodes.

On integrable reductions of two-dimensional Toda-type lattices

open access: yesPartial Differential Equations in Applied Mathematics
The article considers lattices of the two-dimensional Toda type, which can be interpreted as dressing chains for spatially two-dimensional generalizations of equations of the nonlinear Schrödinger type.

Some New Intrinsic Topologies on Complete Lattices and the Cartesian Closedness of the Category of Strongly Continuous Lattices

open access: yesAbstract and Applied Analysis, 2013
We prove some new characterizations of strongly continuous lattices using two new intrinsic topologies and a class of convergences. Lastly we show that the category of strongly continuous lattices and Scott continuous mappings is cartesian closed.

Golden‐Ratio–Guided Aperiodic Architected Metamaterials with Simultaneously Enhanced Strength and Toughness

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Guided by the golden ratio, a class of aperiodic architected metamaterials is introduced to address the intrinsic trade‐off between strength and toughness. By unifying local geometric heterogeneity with global order, the golden‐ratio‐guided aperiodic architecture promotes spatial delocalization of damage tolerence regions, leading to more tortuous ...

Multiscale Structuring of Hydroxyapatite via Two‐Photon Lithography of Nanocomposites

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Hydroxyapatite scaffolds are of great interest in bone tissue engineering applications, ranging from 3D cell culture to regenerative medicine. Using two‐photon lithography of a transparent nanocomposite, hydroxyapatite microstructures with features ranging from submicron to centimeter‐scale are fabricated. This allows to mimic the natural bone geometry,

Reducing Open‐Circuit Voltage Losses in Wide‐Bandgap FAPbBr3 Perovskite Solar Cells for Continuous Unassisted Light‐Driven Water Splitting

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
The combination of formamidinium thiocyanate and 1,3‐propane diammonium iodide for bulk and top‐surface passivation, and a ternary fullerene blend to improve energy band alignment, suppresses energy losses in wide‐bandgap FAPbBr3 perovskite solar cells.

Unraveling the Mg Loss Mechanism and Degradation Kinetics in Thermoelectric n‐Type Mg2Si‐Mg2Sn Solid Solutions

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Mg‐based thermoelectrics are among the most promising candidates for power generation applications but their performance is compromised by Mg loss at device operation temperatures due to the higher chemical potential of Mg (μMg${\mu}_{\mathrm{Mg}}$) inside the material compared to the environment.

Joint Control of Radiated and Surface Waves via Space‐Time Coding Metasurfaces

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A unified space‐time coding metasurface platform enables simultaneous control of radiated and surface‐confined waves across multiple harmonics. Demonstrated functionalities include multi‐frequency beam shaping; surface‐wave excitation, and hybrid multiplexing.

Measure characterizations and properties of normal and regular lattices

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, 1991
Various equivalent characterizations of normality are considered and a measure theoretic definition is given for strongly normal lattices. Measure conditions related to the apace of σ-smooth, lattice-regular, 0−1 measures are noted which imply, or are ...

Intensification of Foam Layered Apparatus by Foam Stabilization

open access: yesЖурнал інженерних наук, 2018
In this work the expanded models are studied for foaming apparatuses with gratings made of tubes for different diameters. The problem of intensification of foam devices using coarse-grating lattices is considered.
