Complete Lift Transformations for Second Order Differential Equations

open access: yesJournal of Mathematical Analysis and Applications, 1995
The paper deals with a system modelled by a smooth vector field \(F\) on the state space and an output function \(h\), i.e. \[ \begin{cases} v' & = F(v)\\ w & = h(v)\end{cases} \] where the pair \((F,h)\) is called an observed dynamics. A special case of the observed dynamics, when \(w''= f(w,w')\), is considered in detail.

A COMPLETE LIFT FOR SEMISPRAYS [PDF]

open access: yesInternational Journal of Geometric Methods in Modern Physics, 2010
In this paper, we define a complete lift for semisprays. If S is a semispray on a manifold M, its complete lift is a new semispray Scon TM. The motivation for this lift is two-fold: First, geodesics for Sccorrespond to the Jacobi fields for S, and second, this complete lift generalizes and unifies previously known complete lifts for Riemannian metrics,

Lifting theorems for completely positive maps

open access: yesJournal of Noncommutative Geometry, 2022
We prove lifting theorems for completely positive maps going out of exact C^* -algebras, where we remain in control of which ideals are mapped into which. A consequence is, that if \mathsf X

Clinical and Biological Features of Response in Resistant Neuroblastoma to 131I‐Metaiodobenzylguanidine Radiotherapy in the Anti‐GD2 Immunotherapy Era

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background 131I‐metaiodobenzylguanidine (131I‐MIBG) radiotherapy is a key treatment for relapsed and refractory (R/R) neuroblastoma (NB). Patients with R/R disease treated in the modern era are increasingly exposed to anti‐GD2 immunotherapy, which exerts selective pressure and may modify both tumor cell state and microenvironment.

Serological Benefit of SARS‐CoV‐2 Vaccination Relative to Infection in Children With Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Children with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) are at risk of severe outcomes from SARS‐CoV‐2 (SCV2). In the post‐pandemic context, where most children have been infected with SCV2, there are limited data on whether vaccination remains beneficial in children with ALL.
