The resonant energy of the A and B exciton of the new 2D material, monolayer MoSi2N4, is found to be 2.18 and 2.34 eV, respectively, indicating a spin‐splitting energy of ≈160 meV. Complex and diverse exciton dynamics are observed. The work has a profound influence on the future developments of MoSi2N4‐based optoelectronic devices and the synthesis of ...

Completely monotone functions and the Wallis ratio
AbstractThe aim of the paper is to improve known estimates of the Wallis ratio. Moreover, we show that these improvements are valid, because certain functions involving the continuous version of the Wallis ratio are completely monotone.

Tunable Polariton Rabi Oscillation in Phase‐Changing Perovskite Microcavities
This work demonstrated the tunable Rabi oscillation of exciton‐polaritons in MAPbBr3 perovskites due to the emergence of ferroelectricity during the crystallographic phase transition. Both the Rabi oscillation and exciton oscillator strength exhibit an unusual temperature dependence that is related to the emergence of ferroelectricity in the tetragonal

A simple to multiscale structure transition happens when a commercial porous foam is filled with multiwall carbon nanotubes with high aspect ratio. For an acoustic absorber with a porous material, the loading of multiwall carbon nanotubes can significantly improve its specific surface area while preserving its thickness and high porosity, thus enables ...

An Electrolyte‐Gated InGaZnO Phototransistor that Emulates Visual Experience‐Dependent Plasticity
By utilizing the light‐history‐dependent property of the IGZO electrolyte‐gated transistor, Bienenstock‐Cooper‐Munro (BCM) learning rule is successfully emulated. Moreover, the BCM learning rule enables a variety of bionic vision functions including image edge detection and associative memory, which offers a promising route for simulating high‐order ...

Fast and Furious: A study on Monotonicity and Speed in Cops-and-Robber Games [PDF]
In this paper, we study different variants of the Cops-and-Robber game with respect to cop- and robber\-/monotonicity. We study a visible and invisible robber and variants where the robber is lazy, thus can only move when the cops announce to move on top of him.

Computational Microscopy of Spatial Dopant Distribution in Conjugated Polymer
The study employed molecular dynamics simulations to investigate the distribution of dopants in conjugated polymers. The simulations revealed that dopants are randomly distributed without forming clusters, contrasting with experimental findings of dopant clustering.
