D-Optimal Design for a Causal Structure for Completely Randomized and Random Blocked Experiments [PDF]

open access: goldJournal of Probability and Statistics, 2022
Most experimental design literature on causal inference focuses on establishing a causal relationship between variables, but there is no literature on how to identify a design that results in the optimal parameter estimates for a structural equation ...

How to construct analysis of covariance in clinical trials: ANCOVA with one covariate in a completely randomized design structure [PDF]

open access: goldKorean Journal of Anesthesiology
Analysis of covariance (ANCOVA) is a statistical method used to assess mean differences between groups by considering factors such as covariates or fixed effects and is often used to assess efficacy endpoints in clinical trials.

Modified z-test as an alternative to Completely Randomized Design [PDF]

open access: green, 2019

A less time-consuming method named Modified z-test is suggested here as an alternative to one-way ANOVA (completely randomized design) to test hypothesis manually for three or four samples with unequal and equal sample size respectively.

Proposed nonparametric tests for the ordered alternative in a completely randomized and randomized block mixed design

open access: goldCumhuriyet Science Journal, 2021
Two nonparametric tests are proposed for the mixed design consisting of a randomized complete block and a completely randomized design to test for k nondecreasing treatment effects. The Hollander test and the Page test are used in randomized complete block design and completely randomized design, respectively.

Outperforming Completely Randomized Designs [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Quality Technology, 2004
This abstract is based on the authors' abstract. Split-plot designs are frequently used in industry when factor levels are difficult to change or control. However, the resulting compound symmetric error structure affects estimation and inference procedu..
