Software timing analysis for complex hardware with survivability and risk analysis [PDF]
The increasing automation of safety-critical real-time systems, such as those in cars and planes, leads, to more complex and performance-demanding on-board software and the subsequent adoption of multicores and accelerators.

In 1934 Lavrentiev solved the problem of maximum of product of conformal radii of two non-overlapping simply connected domains. In the case of three or more points, many authors considered estimates of a more general Mobius invariant of the form $$ T_{n}:

Random matrix analysis of complex networks
We study complex networks under random matrix theory (RMT) framework. Using nearest-neighbor and next-nearest-neighbor spacing distributions we analyze the eigenvalues of adjacency matrix of various model networks, namely, random, scale-free and small ...

Explicit calculation method for cell alignment in non-circular geometries
The alignment of spindle-shaped cells in two-dimensional geometries induces singular points called topological defects, at which the alignment angle of the cell cannot be defined.

ABSTRACT We sought to identify potential early risk biomarkers for lung disease in children post‐allogeneic HCT. Patients with pulmonary function tests 3 months post‐transplant and plasma samples between days 7 and 14 post‐HCT were included. Six of 27 subjects enrolled had reduced forced expiratory volume 1 (FEV1) z scores.

The Origin(s) of LUCA: Computer Simulation of a New Theory
Carl Woese’s thesis of cellular evolution emphasized that the last universal common/cellular ancestor (LUCA) must have evolved by drawing from “global inventions”. Yet, existing theories regarding the origin(s) of LUCA have mostly centered upon scenarios
