Complex saddle points in QCD at finite temperature and density
The sign problem in QCD at finite temperature and density leads naturally to the consideration of complex saddle points of the action or effective action.

The interplay between magnetic ordering and crystal electric field (CEF) excitations plays a pivotal role in defining the low‐energy electrodynamics of quantum materials. By probing the temperature‐dependent THz conductivity in a rare‐earth‐based metallic ferromagnet, we uncover a microscopic connection between localized and itinerant electrons ...

Multi‐View Biomedical Foundation Models for Molecule‐Target and Property Prediction
Molecular foundation models can provide accurate predictions for a large set of downstream tasks. We develop MMELON, an approach that integrates pre‐trained graph, image, and text foundation models and validate our multi‐view model on over 120 tasks, including GPCR binding.

In Boffi et al. (2000), it was shown that the linear Lagrange element space on criss-cross meshes and its divergence exhibit spurious eigenvalues when applied in the mixed formulation of the Laplace eigenvalue problem, despite satisfying both the inf–sup

Exponential Decay of Eigenfunctions and Accumulation of Eigenvalues on Manifolds with Axial Analytic Asymptotically Cylindrical Ends [PDF]
In this paper we continue our study of the Laplacian on manifolds with axial analytic asymptotically cylindrical ends initiated in~arXiv:1003.2538. By using the complex scaling method and the Phragm\'{e}n-Lindel\"{o}f principle we prove exponential decay

Nonlocal solitons supported by non-parity-time-symmetric complex potentials
We report on the existence and stability of fundamental and out-of-phase dipole solitons in nonlocal focusing Kerr media supported by one-dimensional non-parity-time (PT)-symmetric complex potentials.

Rib‐Reinforced Ultralight and Ultra‐Strong Shell Lattices
This study thoroughly reveals the relation between the curvature and stress direction of triply periodic minimal surface (TPMS) thin shell lattices and proposes a novel rib reinforcement design strategy to incorporate ribs along the line of asymptotes (LOA) and the line of principal curvatures (LOC) to enhance the strength of ultralight TPMS shell ...

New eigenvalue estimates for complex matrices
Let \(A\) be an \(n\times n\) complex matrix with eigenvalues \(\lambda_ 1,\ldots,\lambda_ n\). The authors prove that all of the eigenvalues lie in the rectangle \[ [({\mathfrak R}(\text{tr }A)/n)-\alpha,({\mathfrak R}(\text{tr }A)/n)+\alpha]\times[({\mathfrak I}(\text{tr }A)/n)-\beta,({\mathfrak I}(\text{tr }A)/n)+\beta], \] where \(\alpha=\left[(n-1)
