Classification of Pseudo-Riemannian submersions with totally geodesic fibres from pseudo-hyperbolic spaces

open access: yes, 2012
We classify pseudo-Riemannian submersions with connected totally geodesic fibres from a real pseudo-hyperbolic space onto a pseudo-Riemannian manifold. Also, we obtain the classification of the pseudo-Riemannian submersions with (para-)complex connected ...

Self‐Hybridized Exciton‐Polariton Photodetectors From Layered Metal‐Organic Chalcogenolates

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Self‐hybridized exciton‐polariton photodetectors are demonstrated using high refractive index mithrene, eliminating the need for top mirrors. This simplified architecture enables tunable sub‐bandgap photodetection via lower exciton‐polariton states and enhanced carrier transport through ultrafast polariton group velocities.

Moduli spaces of holomorphic mappings into hyperbolically imbedded complex spaces and hyperbolic fibre spaces

open access: yesJournal of the Mathematical Society of Japan, 1994
In 1974, \textit{S. Lang} [Bull. Am. Math. Soc. 80, 779-787 (1974; Zbl 0298.14014)] conjectured that there are only finitely many dominant meromorphic mappings from a compact complex space to a hyperbolic compact complex space. This generalises the classical de Franchis theorem which asserts that there are only finitely many dominant rational mappings ...

Function Theory on a q-Analog of Complex Hyperbolic Space

open access: yes, 2002
This work deals with function theory on quantum complex hyperbolic spaces. The principal notions are expounded. We obtain explicit formulas for invariant integrals on `finite' functions on a quantum hyperbolic space and on the associated quantum ...

Smart Catheters for Diagnosis, Monitoring, and Therapy

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
This study presents a comprehensive review of smart catheters, an emerging class of medical devices that integrate embedded sensors, robotics, and communication systems, offering increased functionality and complexity to enable real‐time health monitoring, diagnostics, and treatment. Abstract This review explores smart catheters as an emerging class of

Redefining Therapies for Drug‐Resistant Tuberculosis: Synergistic Effects of Antimicrobial Peptides, Nanotechnology, and Computational Design

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
Antimicrobial peptide (AMP)‐loaded nanocarriers provide a multifunctional strategy to combat drug‐resistant Mycobacterium tuberculosis. By enhancing intracellular delivery, bypassing efflux pumps, and disrupting bacterial membranes, this platform restores phagolysosome fusion and macrophage function.

Complex lines in complex hyperbolic space H ℂ 2

open access: yesIndian Journal of Pure and Applied Mathematics, 2011
Let p1, p2, p3, p4 be four pairwise distinct points in the boundary of complex hyperbolic 2-space Hℂ2 and any three points do not lie in the same C-circle. We show that we are always able to group the four points into two classes such that each class contains two points, the two complex lines spanned by each class are ultra-parallel or intersect. As an

Opportunities of Semiconducting Oxide Nanostructures as Advanced Luminescent Materials in Photonics

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
The review discusses the challenges of wide and ultrawide bandgap semiconducting oxides as a suitable material platform for photonics. They offer great versatility in terms of tuning microstructure, native defects, doping, anisotropy, and micro‐ and nano‐structuring. The review focuses on their light emission, light‐confinement in optical cavities, and

MEDFA: A Knowledge-Aware Recommendation Model With Multi-Space Embedding, Feature Distillation, and Fused Attention

open access: yesIEEE Access
Knowledge graphs have provided a new research direction for recommender systems. Although contrastive learning and knowledge graph embedding have achieved significant success in knowledge-aware recommendation, two key problems persist.

Hyperbolicity of general deformations [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
We present two methods of constructing low degree Kobayashi hyperbolic hypersurfaces in the projective space: the projection method and the deformation method. The talk is based on joint works of the speaker with B. Shiffman and C.
