Directional Flow of Confined Polaritons in CrSBr

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
CrSBr, a layered magnetic semiconductor, naturally channels self‐hybridized excitonpolaritons into highly directional flow. Its intrinsic optical anisotropy, high refractive index, and strong lightmatter coupling enable long‐range guided modes along the a‐axis, with propagation lengths set by their excitonphoton admixture.

Julia and Mandelbrot Sets for Dynamics over the Hyperbolic Numbers

open access: yesFractal and Fractional, 2019
Julia and Mandelbrot sets, which characterize bounded orbits in dynamical systems over the complex numbers, are classic examples of fractal sets. We investigate the analogs of these sets for dynamical systems over the hyperbolic numbers.

On bimeromorphic automorphisms of hyperbolic complex spaces [PDF]

open access: yesNagoya Mathematical Journal, 1979
Let X be a hyperbolic complex space in the sense of S. Kobayashi [2]. We write Aut(X)(resp. Bim (X)) for the group of all biholomorphic (resp. bimeromorphic) automorphisms of X.

LEAD: Literature Enhanced Ab Initio Discovery of Nitride Dusting Layers for Enhanced Tunnel Magnetoresistance and Lower Resistance Magnetic Tunnel Junctions

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Magnetic tunnel junctions (MTJs) using MgO tunnel barriers face challenges of high resistance‐area product and low tunnel magnetoresistance (TMR). To discover alternative materials, Literature Enhanced Ab initio Discovery (LEAD) is developed. The LEAD‐predicted materials are theoretically evaluated, showing that MTJs with dusting of ScN or TiN on ...

Exact Solutions of the Space-Time Fractional Bidirectional Wave Equations Using the (G′/G)-Expansion Method

open access: yesJournal of Applied Mathematics, 2014
Based on Jumarie’s modified Riemann-Liouville derivative, the fractional complex transformation is used to transform fractional differential equations to ordinary differential equations.

Rigidity at infinity for even-dimensional asymptotically complex hyperbolic spaces

open access: yes, 2001
Any Kaehler metric on the ball which is strongly asymptotic to complex hyperbolic space and whose scalar curvature is no less than the one of the complex hyperbolic space must be isometrically biholomorphic to it. This result has been known for some time

Freeform Manufacturing of Plant‐Based Structural Colors for Scalable Photonic and Mechanochromic Devices

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
A green, freeform manufacturing approach that utilizes robust aqueous two‐phase systems to create intricate and scalable photonic structures and non‐planar mechanochromic hydrogel actuators from plant‐based hydroxypropyl cellulose. This approach broadens the structural possibilities of sustainable photonic devices and mechanochromic systems, offering ...

Weakly supervised video anomaly detection based on hyperbolic space

open access: yesScientific Reports
In recent years, there has been a proliferation of weakly supervised methods in the field of video anomaly detection. Despite significant progress in existing research, these efforts have primarily focused on addressing this issue within Euclidean space.

Almost Kähler structures on complex hyperbolic space

open access: yesFilomat, 2023
Complex hyperbolic space has the structure of a solvable Lie group. Based on the recent classification of Riemannian left-invariant metrics we describe all left-invariant almost K?hler structures on that group. The only K?hler structure is the standard structure of the complex hyperbolic space and all others are strictly almost K?hler.

Deployable 3D‐Printed Vascular Stent with Surface‐Catalysed Endogenous Nitric Oxide Generation

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
A deployable 3D‐printed vascular stent was fabricated with surface‐catalyzed endogenous nitric oxide generation, representing a promising new direction for stent development. The stent can be remotely controlled by magnetic force in its compressed state and fully deployed at the target site using an untethered heat source, potentially eliminating the ...
