trans-Dichloridotetrakis(pyridine-κN)rhodium(III) chloride methanol tetrasolvate
In the solvated title salt, [RhCl2(C5H5N)4]Cl·4CH3OH, the RhIII atom lies on a special position of 2.22 site symmetry. Consequently, the cationic complex has molecular D2 symmetry with a trans disposition for two equivalent Cl− and four equivalent ...

A bright tetranuclear iridium(iii) complex
A cyclic tetranuclear cyclometallated iridium(III) complex using cyanide anions as bridging ligands and displaying a tetrahedrally distorted square geometry has been obtained with high yield; photo- and electrochemical characterizations show that most interesting properties of mononuclear cyclometallated iridium complexes are retained in the ...

ABSTRACT Background Acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) is the most common pediatric cancer, with an overall survival now surpassing 90% in developed countries. However, treatments are not without adverse effects. In this study, we apply the severe toxicity‐free survival (STFS) framework to determine the prevalence of 21 physician‐defined severe ...

ABSTRACT Background Type 1 plasminogen deficiency (PLGD‐1) is an ultra‐rare autosomal recessive disorder caused by variants in the PLG gene and affects approximately 1.6 individuals per million. The condition is characterized by decreased plasminogen levels and impaired function, resulting in fibrin‐rich lesions on mucous membranes throughout the body.

Biologically‐Active Gold(III) Complexes [PDF]
A review is given of the background to and results of the succesful pharmacological testing of [AuX2(damp)] (X = Cl, OAc; damp = 2 − Me2NCH2C6H4) against a range of microbes, fungi and tumouts, culminating in in vivo xenografts of ZR‐1‐75. These are the first fully evaluated gold(III) complexes.

The Role of “Adult‐Onset” Cancer Predisposition Genes in Pediatric Cancer: A Comprehensive Review
ABSTRACT Current literature estimates that 10% of pediatric cancers are caused by pathogenic or likely pathogenic (P/LP) germline variants in cancer predisposition genes (CPGs). Variants in CPGs thought to increase cancer risk exclusively during adulthood are referred to as “adult‐onset” CPGs (aoCPGs).
