Complex intuitionistic fuzzy sets

AIP Conference Proceedings, 2012
This paper presents a new concept of complex intuitionistic fuzzy set (CIFS) which is generalized from the innovative concept of a complex fuzzy set (CFS) by adding the non-membership term to the definition of CFS. The novelty of CIFS lies in its ability for membership and non-membership functions to achieve more range of values.

Fuzzy Reliability Evaluation of Complex Systems Using Intuitionistic Fuzzy Sets

2021
In a system where it cannot be reduced to a pure series and parallel form (i.e., complex), reliability is obtained by universal generating function (UGF) technique. The intuitionistic fuzzy sets (IFS) concept with triangular fuzzy number (TFN) and Weibull lifetime distribution is introduced to find the fuzzy reliability of the same system.

Complex Interval-valued Intuitionistic Fuzzy Sets and their Aggregation Operators

Fundamenta Informaticae, 2019
The objective of this manuscript is to present the concept of the complex interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy (CIVIF) set, their algebraic operations and their corresponding aggregation operators, which can better represent the time-periodic problems and two-dimensional information in a single set.

A robust correlation coefficient measure of complex intuitionistic fuzzy sets and their applications in decision-making

Applied Intelligence, 2018
The objective of this work is to present novel correlation coefficient measures for measuring the relationship between the two complex intuitionistic fuzzy sets (CIFSs). In the existing studies of fuzzy and its extension, the uncertainties present in the data are handled with the help of degrees of membership which are the subset of real numbers, and ...

Robust Averaging–Geometric Aggregation Operators for Complex Intuitionistic Fuzzy Sets and Their Applications to MCDM Process

Arabian Journal for Science and Engineering, 2019
This paper presents aggregation operators which encapsulate the interaction among the criteria and preferences under complex intuitionistic fuzzy (CIF) conditions. The current extensions of fuzzy set theory handle only the uncertain data by representing the satisfaction and dissatisfaction degrees as real values and hence lose some information.

Novel aggregation operators and ranking method for complex intuitionistic fuzzy sets and their applications to decision-making process

Artificial Intelligence Review, 2019
Complex intuitionistic fuzzy set (CIFS) is a distinctive intuitionistic fuzzy set (IFS) in which the membership degrees are determined on the unit disc of the complex plane and can more clearly express the imprecision and ambiguity in the data. The prevailing studies on IFS deal with the data over the subset of a real number and hence there is a ...
