Complex transition metal hydrides: linear correlation of countercation electronegativity versus T-D bond lengths.

open access: yesChemical Communications, 2015
For homoleptic 18-electron complex hydrides, an inverse linear correlation has been established between the T-deuterium bond length (T = Fe, Co, Ni) and the average electronegativity of the metal countercations.

A Hydrogen‐Releasing Nanozyme Engineers a Mitochondrial ROS Amplifier for Self‐Sustaining Catalytic Immunotherapy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
We developed a RhPd‐H nanozyme that integrates enhanced POD‐mimetic catalytic activity with thermally triggered H2 release. H2 shields and reprograms mitochondria to continuously leak endogenous ·O2−. This dual‐path ROS spatially and temporally disrupts redox homeostasis, inducing persistent oxidative stress for tumor suppression and antitumor immunity,

Reduction of Pyrones with Complex Metal Hydrides [PDF]

open access: yesBulletin of the Chemical Society of Japan, 1962
Abstract Reduction using complex metal hydrides was carried out on monocyclic α-pyrones and benzo-γ-pyrone. It was established that generally the hydrogenolysis of the 1,6-linkage of an α-pyrone ring occurred. In benzo-γ-pyrone, carbon-carbon double bond and ketone were reduced.
