The complex permittivity of PEDOT:PSS

The Journal of Chemical Physics, 2023
High permittivity materials are required for efficient organic photovoltaic devices, and the addition of the conjugated polymer composite poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophen) polystyrene sulfonate (PEDOT:PSS) to dielectric polymers has been shown to significantly heighten their permittivity.

Six-port Complex Permittivity Measurements

2006 European Microwave Conference, 2006
This paper describes a new method of measuring the complex relative permittivity epsiv* of high-loss and low-loss materials up to the L-band in the microwave range, based on the six-port technique. The novel feature of this method is the determination of epsiv* directly from the intersection of three circles in the complex epsiv*-plane.

Complex Permittivity Studies of Polyaniline

MRS Proceedings, 1992
ABSTRACTA study of the complex dielectric properties at microwave and millimeterwave frequencies on several polyanilines was performed. The polymers investigated were based on emeraldine salts. The chemically synthesized emeraldine base was protonated with acids of various pH levels.

Parametric modelling of complex permittivity and permeability

1996 IEEE MTT-S International Microwave Symposium Digest, 2002
This paper proposes a new method for measuring the complex permittivity and permeability of materials at microwave frequencies. Starting from reflection/transmission measurements, a parametric model of /spl epsi/ and /spl mu/ is determined using a maximum likelihood estimator.

Non-destructive complex permittivity measurement of low permittivity thin film materials

Measurement Science and Technology, 2007
Complex permittivity measurement of low permittivity thin films is necessary to understand the fundamental properties and to implement these materials in devices. A new technique has been developed employing split-post dielectric resonators at operating frequencies of 10 GHz and 20 GHz to measure relative permittivity and loss tangent of low ...

Complex permittivity measurements of two conifers

IGARSS'97. 1997 IEEE International Geoscience and Remote Sensing Symposium Proceedings. Remote Sensing - A Scientific Vision for Sustainable Development, 2002
Complex permittivity measurements in the frequency range 1-10 GHz of two conifers, a 5.0 m high Balsam fir and a 1.9 m high spruce, are presented. With the large amount of measurement data it is possible to establish representative average values for the various parts of the considered trees.
