The Blasius Function in the Complex Plane [PDF]
The Blasius function, denoted by f, is the solution to a simple nonlinear boundary layer problem, a third order ordinary differential equation on $x \in [0, \infty]$. In this work, we calculate several numerical constants, such as the second derivative of f at the origin and the two parameters of the linear asymptotic approximation to f, to at least ...

Disruption of SETD3‐mediated histidine‐73 methylation by the BWCFF‐associated β‐actin G74S mutation
The β‐actin G74S mutation causes altered interaction of actin with SETD3, reducing histidine‐73 methylation efficiency and forming two distinct actin variants. The variable ratio of these variants across cell types and developmental stages contributes to tissue‐specific phenotypical changes. This imbalance may impair actin dynamics and mechanosensitive

Rapid evolution of complex limit cycles [PDF]
The current article studies certain problems related to complex cycles of holomorphic foliations with singularities in the complex plane. We focus on the case when polynomial differential one-form gives rise to a foliation by Riemann surfaces.

Circulating histones as clinical biomarkers in critically ill conditions
Circulating histones are emerging as promising biomarkers in critical illness due to their diagnostic, prognostic, and therapeutic potential. Detection methods such as ELISA and mass spectrometry provide reliable approaches for quantifying histone levels in plasma samples.

This study reveals how prime editing guide RNA (pegRNA) secondary structure and reverse transcriptase template length affect prime editing efficiency in correcting the phospholamban R14del cardiomyopathy‐associated mutation. Insights support the design of structurally optimized enhanced pegRNAs for precise gene therapy.

Complex plane curves in the ball
This paper is devoted to the study of topological properties of complex curves in the standard ball in \({\mathbb{C}}^ 2\). The author enlarges the already quite developed theory by generalizing many basic tools (such as the Maslov-Arnold index for Legendre curves in the sphere, the Bennequin invariant, the Rokhlin quadratic form, and the classical ...

Single‐cell insights into the role of T cells in B‐cell malignancies
Single‐cell technologies have transformed our understanding of T cell–tumor cell interactions in B‐cell malignancies, revealing new T‐cell subsets, functional states, and immune evasion mechanisms. This Review synthesizes these findings, highlighting the roles of T cells in pathogenesis, progression, and therapy response, and underscoring their ...

In the adult T‐cell leukemia/lymphoma (ATL) cell line ED, the human T‐cell leukemia virus type 1 (HTLV‐1) provirus was integrated into the intron of the ift81 gene in the antisense orientation. Despite this integration, both the intact ift81 and the viral oncogene hbz were simultaneously expressed, likely due to the functional insufficiency of viral ...
