PLXDC2 siRNA‐Mediated Intervention Attenuates Microglial Senescence Through cGAS‐STING Signaling
PLXDC2 was identified as a microglial target in Parkinson's disease through human and mouse single‐cell analyses. Ferritin‐armed biomimetic nanovesicles delivered PLXDC2 siRNA, deferoxamine, and CeO2 nanoparticles across the blood–brain barrier, reducing cGAS‐STING activation, iron burden, oxidative stress, and senescence in microglia, thereby ...

Neuroimaging in post-traumatic stress disorder: a narrative review
Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) is a psychiatric pathology arising from severe trauma exceeding an individual’s adaptive capabilities. Clinical presentations include flashbacks, nightmares, emotional detachment, avoidance of trauma-related stimuli,

Adult human organotypic cortical slices undergo marked neuronal loss, laminar disruption, and glial activation, yet their network activity progressively stabilizes after a variable period. Electrophysiology, longitudinal calcium imaging, and quantitative histology show that structurally remodeled human circuits show adaptive capacity resulting in ...

Zinc transporter SLC39A14 sustains intracellular Zn2+ levels to activate SIRT3‑dependent ANXA2 deacetylation at K302. This modification weakens ANXA2‑mTOR binding and releases autophagic‑flux suppression in nucleus pulposus cells. Dysregulated Zn2+ homeostasis disrupts this axis to drive intervertebral disc degeneration.

Subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH) triggers monocyte‐derived macrophage (MDM) infiltration and M1‐like polarization via Vimentin upregulation, leading to neurovascular unit disruption and cognitive dysfunction. Remote ischemic postconditioning (RIPostC) upregulates neuronal Gas6, which activates Axl on MDMs to downregulate Vimentin and drive reparative M2 ...

A blue‐light‐crosslinked bilayer hydrogel was developed for local optic nerve repair. The adhesive GM‐Odex outer layer seals and anchors the lesion, while the non‐adhesive GM‐imid inner layer releases MPDA‐Cle without obstructing CSF flow. This system modulates oxidative and inflammatory microenvironments, supports oligodendrocyte differentiation and ...

Lactate Signal: Modulator of Cellular Energy Production and Anabolism
Compartmentalized lactate signaling provides a spatial framework for understanding how lactate‐rich states are generated, transported, sensed, and translated into biological outputs. This Review integrates extracellular, cytosolic, mitochondrial‐associated, and nuclear lactate mechanisms to explain how lactate shapes metabolic adaptation, immune ...
