Product complex submanifolds on of indefinite complex space forms

open access: yesRocky Mountain Journal of Mathematics, 1988
An analogue of the Segre imbedding for the indefinite complex projective (and hyperbolic) space is constructed. The paper then deals with isometric holomorphic immersions of a product of two complete indefinite Kähler manifolds into a complex projective space.

Application of the Complex Moments for Selection of an Optimal Sensor

open access: yesSensors, 2021
In the first time we apply the statistics of the complex moments for selection of an optimal pressure sensor (from the available set of sensors) based on their statistical/correlation characteristics.

A geometric model of linear fractional transformations

open access: yesДифференциальная геометрия многообразий фигур, 2022
A model of linear fractional transformations of the complex plane in the form of points of the complex three-dimensional projective space without a linear “forbidden” quadric is presented.

Isotropic Immersions of Complex Space Forms into Real Space Forms and Mean Curvatures [PDF]

open access: yesBulletin of the Polish Academy of Sciences Mathematics, 2004
First, the author finds a sufficient condition for an isotropic immersion of a complex space form into a real space form to be parallel. Then he extends the result to isotropic immersions of quaternionic space forms into real space forms. In each case, the sufficient condition is expressed in terms of the mean curvature of the submanifold, its ...

An application of stress energy tensor to the vanishing theorem of differential forms

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, 1988
The author applies the stress energy of differential forms to study the vanishing theorems of the Liouville type. It is shown that for a large class of underlying manifolds such as the Euclidean n-space, the complex n-space, and the complex hyperbolic ...

Kähler maps of Hermitian symmetric spaces into complex space forms

open access: yesGeometriae Dedicata, 2007
The authors study Kähler immersions of Hermitian symmetric spaces into finite- or infinite-dimensional complex space forms, in particular Kähler immersions of such spaces of noncompact type endowed with their Bergman metrics into the infinite-dimensional hyperbolic space \(\mathbb{C} H^\infty\) or the infinite-dimensional Euclidean space \(\ell^2 ...

Maslovian Lagrangian immersions of real space forms into complex space forms

open access: yesJapanese journal of mathematics. New series, 2004
Consider a Lagrangian immersion, i.e., an immersion of a Riemannian manifold \(M\) into a Kähler \(n\)-manifold \(\overline{M}\) such that it is an isometric immersion whose complex structure \(J\) of \(\overline{M}\) interchanges each tangent space of \(M\) with its corresponding normal space.

Second order parallel tensor in real and complex space forms

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, 1989
Levy's theorem ‘A second order parallel symmetric non-singular tensor in a real space form is proportional to the metric tensor’ has been generalized by showing that it holds even if one assumes the second order tensor to be parallel (not necessarily ...
