A REVERSE ENGINEERING APPROACH TO OBTAIN THE 3D MODEL OF A SPARE PART
The current stage is characterized by the steady growth of competition between manufacturing companies, which causes diversifying the range of products and find new methods to shorten the time for the development of a new product.

Skyrme–Faddeev Instantons on Complex Surfaces [PDF]
The authors study a conformally invariant \(\sigma_2\)-variational problem for a map \(\varphi:(M^4,g)\to (N,h)\). The map \(\varphi\) is an instanton solution for the strongly coupled Skyrme and Faddeev models if it is a stable smooth critical point of the \(\sigma_2\) (finite) energy \(\mathcal{E}_{\sigma_2}(\varphi)= \int_M|\wedge^2d\varphi|^2v_g\).

HIGH AND LOW RESOLUTION TEXTURED MODELS OF COMPLEX ARCHITECTURAL SURFACES [PDF]
During the recent years it has become obvious that 3D technology, applied mainly with the use of terrestrial laser scanners (TLS) is the most suitable technique for the complete geometric documentation of complex objects, whether they are monuments or ...

Comparison of WBGTs over Different Surfaces within an Athletic Complex
Many athletic governing bodies are adopting on-site measurement of the wet-bulb globe temperature (WBGT) as part of their heat safety policies. It is well known, however, that microclimatic conditions can vary over different surface types and a question ...

Zoll Manifolds and Complex Surfaces
We classify compact surfaces with torsion-free affine connections for which every geodesic is a simple closed curve. In the process, we obtain completely new proofs of all the major results concerning the Riemannian case. In contrast to previous work, our approach is twistor-theoretic, and depends fundamentally on the fact that, up to biholomorphism ...

Almost complex surfaces in the nearly Kaehler S6
It is shown that a compact almost complex surface in S6 is either totally geodesic or the minimum of its Gaussian curvature is less than or equal to 1/3.

Complex structures on Riemann surfaces [PDF]
Let X X be a Riemann surface (compact or noncompact) with the property that the length of every closed geodesic is bounded away from zero. Then we show that sufficiently small complex structures on X X can be described without making use of Schwarzian derivatives or the theory of quasiconformal mappings.

Biharmonic and Quasi-Biharmonic Slant Surfaces in Lorentzian Complex Space Forms
In 1991, Chen and Ishikawa initially studied biharmonic marginally trapped surfaces in neutral pseudo-Euclidean 4-space. Recently, biharmonic and quasi-biharmonic marginally trapped Lagrangian surfaces in Lorentzian complex space forms were studied by ...

On the supersingular reduction of K3 surfaces with complex multiplication [PDF]
We study the good reduction modulo p of K3 surfaces with complex multiplication. If a K3 surface with complex multiplication has good reduction, we calculate the Picard number and the height of the formal Brauer group of the reduction.
