Dual Bosonic Thermal Green Function and Fermion Correlators of the Massive Thirring Model at a Finite Temperature

open access: yes, 2007
The Euclidian thermal Green function of the two-dimensional (2D) free massless scalar field in coordinate space is written as the real part of a complex analytic function of a variable that conformally maps the infinite strip ...

Clinical Insights Into Hypercalcemia of Malignancy in Childhood

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Hypercalcemia of malignancy (HCM) is a rare but life‐threatening metabolic emergency in children that occurs in less than 1% of pediatric cancer cases, with a reported incidence ranging from 0.4% to 1.0% across different studies. While it is observed in 10%–20% of adult malignancies, pediatric HCM remains relatively uncommon.

A certain method of construction of Thiele-Hermite continued fraction at a point

open access: yesPracì Mìžnarodnogo Geometričnogo Centru, 2023
The problem of interpolation of the function of a complex variable at a point of a compact set by the Thiele-Hermite continued fraction is investigated.

Adherence to Protocol Recommendations for Children With Wilms Tumour in Two Consecutive Studies in the United Kingdom and Ireland—Does Variation Matter?

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background and Aims Wilms tumour (WT) has excellent event‐free and overall survival (OS). However, small differences exist between countries participating in the same international study. This led us to examine variation in adherence to protocol recommendations as a potential contributing factor.

Sirolimus for Extracranial Arteriovenous Malformations: A Scoping Review of the Evidence in Syndromic and Non‐Syndromic Cases

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Arteriovenous malformations (AVMs) are rare, high‐flow, vascular anomalies that can occur either sporadically or as part of a genetic syndrome. AVMs can progress with serious morbidity and even mortality if left unchecked. Sirolimus is an mTOR inhibitor that is effective in low‐flow vascular malformations; however, its role in AVMs is unclear.

Physical mechanisms and models of the long-term transformations in radiative recombination observed in n-GaAs under microwave irradiation

open access: yesSemiconductor Physics, Quantum Electronics & Optoelectronics, 2016
Simulation of long-term changes in photoluminescence of n-GaAs after microwave treatment by using the analysis of random events underlying the processes of evolution of the defect structure has been performed.

Bose-Einstein condensate in a rapidly rotating non-symmetric trap

open access: yes, 2009
A rapidly rotating Bose-Einstein condensate in a symmetric two-dimensional harmonic trap can be described with the lowest Landau-level set of single-particle states.

Evaluating the Utility of Paired Tumor and Germline Targeted DNA Sequencing for Pediatric Oncology Patients: A Single Institution Report

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective To evaluate the diagnostic yield and utility of universal paired tumor–normal multigene panel sequencing in newly diagnosed pediatric solid and central nervous system (CNS) tumor patients and to compare the detection of germline pathogenic/likely pathogenic variants (PV/LPVs) against established clinical referral criteria for cancer ...

On Interpolation Functions of the Generalized Twisted (h,q)-Euler Polynomials

open access: yesJournal of Inequalities and Applications, 2009
The aim of this paper is to construct p-adic twisted two-variable Euler-(h,q)-L-functions, which interpolate generalized twisted (h,q)-Euler polynomials at negative integers.
