Coherent Virtual Absorption Based on Complex Zero Excitation for Ideal Light Capturing
Absorption of light is directly associated with dissipative processes in a material. In suitably tailored resonators, a specific level of dissipation can support coherent perfect absorption, the time-reversed analogue of lasing, which enables total ...

Zeros of entire functions in several complex variables [PDF]
A geometric condition on the zero set of an entire function f in CN (N > 1) is presented which is both necessary and sufficient for f to have the same zeros as some polynomial in C 1. 1.

KHS‐Cnd peptide is able to impair biofilm formation and disaggregate mature biofilms in Acinetobacter baumannii clinical isolates. Differences in extracellular metabolites reflect changes in biofilm metabolism due to KHS‐Cnd treatment. Among the differentially represented extracellular metabolites upon KHS‐Cnd treatment, the significantly altered ...

Unique biological samples, such as site‐specific mutant proteins, are available only in limited quantities. Here, we present a polarization‐resolved transient infrared spectroscopy setup with referencing to improve signal‐to‐noise tailored towards tracing small signals. We provide an overview of characterizing the excitation conditions for polarization‐

Entanglement and analytical continuation: an intimate relation told by the Riemann zeta function
We propose measurements on a quantum system to realize the Riemann zeta function ζ . A single system, that is classical interference, suffices to create the Dirichlet representation of ζ .

Aging‐associated physiological and molecular alterations pose significant challenges in cancer management among India's elderly. Limited geriatric oncology expertise, financial constraints, and inadequate specialized care exacerbate disparities. Strategic expansion of insurance coverage, integration of palliative care, and infrastructural advancements ...

Zeros of the i.i.d. Gaussian power series: a conformally invariant determinantal process
Consider the zero set of the random power series f(z)=sum a_n z^n with i.i.d. complex Gaussian coefficients a_n. We show that these zeros form a determinantal process: more precisely, their joint intensity can be written as a minor of the Bergman kernel.

This study underscores the significant influence of frailty and vitality on the subjective health experience of older cancer survivors with acceptance and control emerging as salient mediators. These findings affirm the conceptual and empirical robustness of the model highlighting its potential utility in shaping future interventions for older cancer ...

Complex zero strip decreasing operators
In this paper we study the effect of linear differential operators coming from the Laguerre-Polya class that act on functions in the extended Laguerre-Polya class with zeros in a horizontal strip in the complex plane. These operator decrease the size of the strip containing the zeros.
